Melantrich Hotel Prague Guest Reviews
Mainio sijainti vanhassa keskustassa, jos aiot kävellen katsoa kaupunkia. Siisti hotelli, jossa auttavainen henkilökunta.

The Melantrich is a clean hotel in a good location. Carpeting & furniture is somewhat shabby. Breakfast provided is substantial and fresh. This hotel is very close to the subway & can be easily accessed by public transport. (Bus from airport & subway line.) Be aware there is no elevator, no airconditioning and the location can be noisy. (Especially if windows are open to cool the room. Also be aware that there are no window screens - so bugs are free to enter if windows are open.) The entrance is very difficult to locate (watch for the sign hanging on the side of the building- the entrance is below this. Go to the end of the short hallway and then look for the buzzer on the apartment panel to your left..) Be aware you will be dinged for items you may commonly expect . There is a charge for use of a tea kettle/ charge for hair dryer/ charge for use of computer in lobby. (Wifi is free if you have your own computer.) Overall this hotel provides reasonable value.

Very strange entrance to the hotel, took a while to find. Location very close to centre in walking distance to all the sights but the area is noisey at night. The bill was in Euros but to pay on credit card they converted to local currency at a very bad rate so I really lost out! So make sure you take the Euros to pay.

The hotel is located within 5 minutes from a main square in the city. The breakfast is good. The staff spoke English, were very friendly, and provided a lot of useful information about the city. There is no airconditioning in the room and there are no elevators in the hotel. This is more like a hostel than a hotel -- a good place to crash for a night. There is a dance club in the basement and at times it is quite noisy.
