We spent one night at the Melanesian enroute to our holiday destination. It was a extremely late check in yest the transfer from the airport was waiting for us, the hotel staff were pleasant on arrival and the room was clean and well appointed. There was a good range of food available for breakfast and it was pleasant to sit beside the pool while waiting for our transfer our final destination. The only disappointment was that there were no bottles of water available in the room on arrival and this would have been very welcome after the flight.

We found the hotel to be very comfortable - extremely well located - very good breakfasts - and the staff most accommodating and helpful. The only negative was there were a few cockroaches in the cupboards which got into our clothes. A good spray through the whole complex I am sure would make a difference. Being within walking distance to the town made it very easy to access.

S... and J... from the tours office went out of their way to look after us. The hotel is showing its age, but it is in a good location and has all the essentials. I would stay there again for sure.

A nice place to stay, within walking distance of the markets and township. The only problems we encountered was that the water was only luke warm for a cuppa in the mornings at breakfast. Small problem as everything else was spot on!
