Melaleuca On Mitchell Darwin Guest Reviews
Noisy, staff did not know which floor my room was on!

This is a very basic facility - better for younger party types. Vinyl-covered mattress, no window and a humid, stuffy room. A sweaty night despite the winter weather.

Great stop as a short-term option in the centre of town. The night I stayed unfortunate noise from "local" bottle throwing etc but not a reflection on the accomodation itself. I'd recommend it.

I don't believe I've ever stayed in a more cramped or noisier hotel room. Saturday night was a nightmare with guests? partying, screaming, yelling, slamming doors etc till around 5am. For the money a fridge, tv & a table and chair (although I don't know where you would fit it) would have been the least I would have expected. Having to climb onto the top bunk to turn on the AC whose switch was mounted on the ceiling is not only a joke but dangerous. To call this a hotel room is "drawing a very long bow". My mistake bad choice.

Expensive for a double room which had very basic furnishings. Storage room for bags overflowing & not secure. Not ideal with Darwin's late night flights. Good location for central Darwin.
