I didn't realise that a hotel room does not have a toilet but has to share that in the hall with others. My reservation didn't seem to indicate this. The breakfast is too simple. The view from the room and the hotel location is perfect.

This is a very central hotel but if you have a room on the street side it is very noisy, so much so that I had to ask for another room. At my request staff were rude and obstructive but eventually on my last night and after much badgering they moved me. Breakfast is terrible. Would not recommend this hotel unless location is your only consideration.

The rooms are very basic and can be noisy if facing the street. Because it is so close to the Duomo expect to hear a lot of bells. On the other hand, it is a great location to see Florence from, central and easy to find.

Great Hotel in a fabulous location one minute from the central square. Rooms were spotless -we stayed in one of the rooms with a shared bathroom, which was large and excellent value for money. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Florence.

with a roof terrace over looking the dumo and city...and being best price accommodation in the city as well as being walking distance to everything...it was worth every penny!
