I didn't realise that a hotel room does not have a toilet but has to share that in the hall with others. My reservation didn't seem to indicate this. The breakfast is too simple. The view from the room and the hotel location is perfect.

This is a very central hotel but if you have a room on the street side it is very noisy, so much so that I had to ask for another room. At my request staff were rude and obstructive but eventually on my last night and after much badgering they moved me. Breakfast is terrible. Would not recommend this hotel unless location is your only consideration.

The rooms are very basic and can be noisy if facing the street. Because it is so close to the Duomo expect to hear a lot of bells. On the other hand, it is a great location to see Florence from, central and easy to find.

Great Hotel in a fabulous location one minute from the central square. Rooms were spotless -we stayed in one of the rooms with a shared bathroom, which was large and excellent value for money. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Florence.

with a roof terrace over looking the dumo and city...and being best price accommodation in the city as well as being walking distance to everything...it was worth every penny!

Perfect sight to the duomo on the highest floor. Might be noisy.

As this hotel was right in the heart of things it was extremely noisy all night. The windows are not double glazed so sleep was impossible. There was no facilities in the room - not even the TV as indicated when booked. I would not stay here again.

Be aware that quality of rooms varies greatly. They have a great roof terrace.

The hotel is in the centar, right on the Piazza Republica! It has a tarasse on the 6th floor from which there is a beautiful view on the Duomo of the Cathedral and the tourbell!

The best location for that price in the whole of Florence! We didn't stay in the hotel, but in a huge appartment with airco 50 meters across the street. It could be cleaned more often. The best view on the Duomo of their terrace enjoying a good glass of wine. To bad the elevator didn't work the last few days, six stories up is a long climb, but nothing in comparison with the Campanile or Dome itself! So if you want a cheap hotel on the right location and you don't complain to quickly, this is it!

This is a great little hotel, it was a little difficult to find with the instructions given, but just ask anyone & they'll direct you. The room was okay, the bathroom a laugh as it was so small - when you ran the shower the water went all over the toilet, walls & even into the bedroom, but that was okay. The position of the hotel is excellent, handy to everything. The breakfast was ok, just a bit of bread & jam & tea/coffee, so don't expect too much! When you arrive you go up the lift to level (piano) 5 where the reception is. There is a lovely garden rooftop area on level 6 where the views are amazing. If you arrive before checkin time, you can leave your bags there and go exploring like we did, no problems, they are used to it. Walking distance from train station - around 10 minutes easy walk. There is a really good information centre near the train station - would suggest calling in there for map & info etc.

Fantastic location. Just look for the Duomo to find your way home! Each floor has a lounge area to gather if there are a few of you, which is handy, if you like to share a bottle of wine before dinner! The lift never failed. Fantastic views from terrace.
