Location
Max In Mokum Hotel Amsterdam is less than 10 minutes walking from the Weesperplein station. Within 15 minutes you can be at Museumsquare. Public transportation is readily available and inexpensive to get you anywhere that you need to go in the city.
Rooms
Single, double, triple, and even quadruple rooms are available. All of the accommodations have hair dryer, safe, wireless internet, heating, clock, and cable TV. Some rooms have a telephone, and irons are available on request.
Restaurant
There is no restaurant at the Hotel, but breakfast is offered daily. There are also many cafes, bars, and restaurants nearby to make dining out easy.
General
Upon check in at the Max in Mokum Hotel Amsterdam, you will receive a voucher to use at the nearby Alcatraz sports bar. To continue the night, more adventurous guests can continue on to the Heineken Brewery, and end the night touring the famous streets of the Red Light District.

Very good hotel for one-two nights with very good price. Pretty clean. Price include breakfast (from LIDL, that is next building to hotel). Only 10 min by walk from museum's square. But no park platz. 5 min park cost 2.20 euro (1 hour) or 50 euro penalty :(

Staff's friendliness and good breakfast made up for the smallness of the room. Clean and modern.

i was under the impression that the hotel offered breakfast - this was not the case. The room was small and cramped and very dusty. There was no kettle or any drink making facilities and no room for even a bedside cabinet. There was no drawers for clothes or coat hangers to hang clothes on. The walls were so thin i could hear the conversation of our neighbours. I also ordered a smoking room and was told it was a no smoking hotel. I would not recommend this hotel.

We were in the apartment room that this Hotel owns in the centre of the city. Very well placed - but bring earplugs!
