Nice clean room and grounds with nice view. Their system was down at check in, so I had to come back. They comped me a breakfast for my troubles for me and my guest who was not even staying there! Nice staff.

If you are going to Maui but not for the beach resort scene, this place can be exactly what you need. Location was a great centralized location for our Road to Hana, Haleakala Sunrise, & Molikini Excursions. Price could not be beat and saved money to spend on activities and food. These places would have been at least 30 minutes further away from West Maui and slightly less from South Maui. Basic amenities were expected and rendered. They do have a nice pool and Kahului Bay Beach access. Could hear the surf very clearly at night. Shower head was below a window and so was low for me (average height) and I had to stoop to get under (my wife is short and had no issue). AC unit was a bit noisy but slept thought if fine. Parking lot (5$ a night) was not large enough for all guests and we had to park in an adjacent non-paved lot. This was no problem as it was only about 15 yards further away than the edge of the paid lot but was free! Highly recommended as long as you expect basic amenities and dont require the beach resort set-up.

the hotel was ok. it is in the middle of the island, so it was comfortable to move to one place to another. Maui is a beautiful place so litlle thing we did not like about the hotel,it was not really important cause we spent most of the time arround places, beaches and sites visiting and enyoing the island. I was specting more for the price. Anyhow, we had a great time.

rooms were clean and comfortable; front desk excellent; location ideal for what we had planned free breakfast was terrible - menu very small and service absolutely awful - we stopped trying after 3rd day (we stayed 6); some early morning checkouts were a bit noisy, but scenery was nice and overall we really enjoyed our stay

Ther are some stores within walking distance from the hotel. But it doesn't look safe to me to walk ther. The room is pretty old and the window air conditioner in the room is placed at the bottom of the wall. We enjoyed the breeze outside the room. Our room air conditioner were not working and wasn't fix after they sent someone to our room. When the staff move our room they requested us to collect the room key from reception.

we needed a hotel close to airport. This fit the bill. Otherwise the room has just enough amenties, no complementary breakfast

The front desk is always happy to help and very friendly. For overnight or a few days it is the easiest, best located, and most affordable for my business trips.

for around $100 a night it has a few thing I really like but are often not in more expensive hotels, one a fridge, and its not a mini bar its a small refer that you can use for your stuff, also it had an LCD TV, I am tired of checking into more expensive hotels and getting an old TV, they should all be in the junk yard by now, this place had a decent LCDTV, a fridge and a pool and was a fairly large but plain room so for that price on Maui , what else are you going to get., there is food served on the grounds and all in all, hey its economy, i probably wouldnt have gotten much more for twice the price.

On arrival Sharon and her partners @ the front desk do a great job in helping a weary traveller find his room. The service is good, and we really ewnjoyed the complementary breakfasts given. Thanks Aloha!

Maui Seaside served it's purpose. Not a whole lot of time was spent at the hotel. The room was clean and always stocked with towels and such. It is convienently located to shopping and some local eateries. Nothing spectacular, but we'd stay there again! It's an older hotel but kind a homey atmosphere.

The hotel was great. All we needed for this trip was a clean room and bathroom and hot showers, and we got way more. The grounds were kept up beautifully, the staff was friendly and helpful. We were gone all day, so we never got a chance to try the pool but it looked beautiful...clean and sparkly. An added plus was being centrally located for everything that we wanted to do around the island. Would definitely stay here again!

We always stay at the Maui Seaside when we arrive in Maui as it is usually after 9 or 10 PM before we arrive, we are tired and this is 5 minutes from the airport. So we lay our heads down here for the night then go up to the time share in Kaanapali the next day. The place is old but the staff are very friendly and they keep it very clean and tidy. Oh... And the Coconut restaurant serves a great breakfast.

Well this is definitely not a 5 star hotel. However, for the amount of time spent in a hotel room it was fine for me. The room was clean as well as the grounds. The cost of the hotel was by far the cheapest I had found and the restaurant/cafe on premises surprisingly had pretty good food too.

Great experience! We had a room with a nice view to the pool and bay that I suggest you ask for. The staff is very nice and helpful. It's far from a 5 stars hotel but the price is more than good for it. I recommend it.

our experience there was great! the location was a convenience to all the shopping since we were there only for an over night stay. we loved the room since it was on the ground floor , it made it easier for us to get to. over all we would definitely stay there again . it has a peaceful atmosphere and family friendly.

The hotel was very nice with all the amenities. The only unfortunate item is that the hotel was almost full when I arrived due to a large group in residence so I couldn't get a room with a lanai. But, my room was very nice, large, spacious, immaculate and clean. Wailuku was the perfect location for the tours I had planned and I would certainly give it two thumbs up.
