Location
Only five minutes in one direction from Maui Nui Botanical Gardens and five minutes in the other direction from the Kahalui Airport, the Maui Seaside Hotel has a great central location. For a more isolated beach, the Waihee Beach Park is a 10 minute drive up the coast and sits next to the Wauehu Municipal golf course.
Rooms
Maui Seaside Hotel has 188 guestrooms housed in a three story building with elevators and offers double and queen beds, with air conditioning and ceiling fans, compact refrigerator and cable TV. Wireless internet access and direct dial telephone are available.
Restaurant
The Coconut Grill in the Maui Seaside, offers fresh local cuisine, including steak and seafood. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Across the street the Kahalui Shopping Center has a variety of restaurants from which to choose.
General
Swim in the courtyard pool or sun on the deck on the bayfront lawn. Go windsurfing in Hookipa Beach only 17 minutes away or drive to the Haleakala Crater to see the sunrise over the crater.

Maui Seaside Hotel Hawaii - Maui Guest Reviews
Ther are some stores within walking distance from the hotel. But it doesn't look safe to me to walk ther. The room is pretty old and the window air conditioner in the room is placed at the bottom of the wall. We enjoyed the breeze outside the room. Our room air conditioner were not working and wasn't fix after they sent someone to our room. When the staff move our room they requested us to collect the room key from reception.

we needed a hotel close to airport. This fit the bill. Otherwise the room has just enough amenties, no complementary breakfast

The front desk is always happy to help and very friendly. For overnight or a few days it is the easiest, best located, and most affordable for my business trips.

for around $100 a night it has a few thing I really like but are often not in more expensive hotels, one a fridge, and its not a mini bar its a small refer that you can use for your stuff, also it had an LCD TV, I am tired of checking into more expensive hotels and getting an old TV, they should all be in the junk yard by now, this place had a decent LCDTV, a fridge and a pool and was a fairly large but plain room so for that price on Maui , what else are you going to get., there is food served on the grounds and all in all, hey its economy, i probably wouldnt have gotten much more for twice the price.

On arrival Sharon and her partners @ the front desk do a great job in helping a weary traveller find his room. The service is good, and we really ewnjoyed the complementary breakfasts given. Thanks Aloha!
