It was close to everything including main roads. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Nothing was too much. Would definately go back again.

This is a nice hotel on the other side of South Kihei rd, across the Kamaole Beach 1. It has all the standard things to expect and is well run. Only negatives are noisy AC:s in the room and the resort fee of 17 USD/day. But it's mandatory so you don't have to accept it. Overall a good place to stay if you want a hotel in the center of Kihei.

this is a nice hotel with a great pool and hot tub. Good food and cocktails. Excellent location, walk to many places and the beach is super. Lots of sea life to see right off the Charley Young beach. Close by to shops and restaurants.

This hotel had the most comfortable bed I've slept in. The location in South Kihei is perfect for shopping, dining, or the beach. We really enjoyed it.

It was a very pleasant stay, rooms were very nice, very clean, the staff were very helpfull and pleasant. The only problem I had was the amenities charge, if you don't use the amenities you get charged for them anyway. You should get charged if you use these amenities, you should not be charged if you don't use the amenities. You use a cardkey they know when you use these amenities.

We are repeat customers and always enjoy this hotel, staff and location of this hotel. The only one comment that I can make is the bed was not as comfortable as I would have liked, but enjoyed our trip anyway.

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at the Maui Coast Hotel and would highly recommend it to couples and families looking for a good combination of quality, amenities and value. We booked a junior suite and were expecting a king size bed. When we got there they had given us a room with 2 queens. Lance calmly explained I didn't specify I wanted a king in the reservation and they didn't have any vacant king rooms, but our room was on the 7th (top) floor which gave us a view of the ocean. We were fine with this because we liked the view and the sun rose on our side of the hotel making it easy to wake up early for activities. Plus I used the extra bed for packing/unpacking, laying out clothes for the next day, etc. But if you want a king, make sure you specify in the reservation or call them ahead of time. The view was nice with the mountains and the ocean but there is a condo complex next door so you are looking at bunch of balconies as well. The room was very clean, good colors, nothing gaudy. I wouldn't really call it a suite...more like a larger than average room with a "kitchen" area extending from the hallway and a larger than average bathroom. There was a mid-size fridge with free bottles of water, a microwave and a coffee maker with free regular and decaf, plus shelf space to put snacks and such. The beds had 5 or 6 pillows each including a couple huge ones good for sitting up to watch TV or read. My girlfriend particularly liked the mattress because it was soft but firm; good for her bad back. Big long closet with a safe, and a big chest of 3 wide and deep drawers. The balcony was slightly narrow, you couldn't stretch your feet out, but big enough to sit and read or stretch out long-ways. There was a sliding door with an easy to use metal lock, and a sliding screen door if you wanted to let in air and keep out the bugs. A/C was a little loud but worked well...we really didn't need it though because it never got too hot. TV was a HD flat screen mounted on the wall, pretty sure it was a 37 inch. There is no access to video inputs, so if you like to connect your computer or portable DVD player like me you're SOL. BE AWARE THAT THEY WILL CHARGE YOU A RESORT FEE. It was a bit over $18 a day. I was a little annoyed at first because I didn't remember seeing that when I booked and it's clearly a way for them to look cheaper online. When I looked back it did say it on my itinerary but not how much. When I saw what it covered I didn't mind though...lots of places charge that much for internet alone. The fee covers wireless internet, tennis courts, bicycles, pool/beach towels, parking and use of two gyms, and I might be leaving something out. Internet speed was good for the most part...I was able to web surf fast and stream video smoothly but my slingbox video was choppy at times. If you play tennis, rackets and balls are included. You can take out a bicycle anytime for as long as you like, and they are good Trek bikes. There is plenty of parking. You don't need a towel card or to sign anything, just ask the front desk for as many towels as you want, and drop them in the towel bin later, or leave them on your bathroom floor. Since we were doing multiple activities we would take 5 or 6 towels out at a time, no questions asked. The gyms looked good and big but we never used them. When we checked them out all of the treadmills were out of order, but they had bikes and ellipticals, and they probably fixed the treadmills by now. We did so many activities that we never had time for the gym anyway. The pool is next to the bar, close enough to walk over for a drink, or there is a server that will come to you, but far enough to keep kids away or for the TV sounds to interrupt your reading or relaxing. The pool is a decent size but not big by any means. There is a kiddie pool on one side and a hot tub on the other. There's a second more private hot tub hidden behind the pool. The bar makes fair priced drinks with fresh garnishes a

The hotel isn't on the beach but, is in a great location on the southern beaches with better weather than the north beaches. You can walk across the street to Kam 1 or take a short drive down to Wailea or "Big Beach" all of the beaches in the area are nice.

This hotel right in the middle of Kihei's beaches, restaurants and a very short drive from the airport. The staff here was very friendly and helpful in referring good locations to eat. Right across from the beach and very short drive (5 mins) to many other great beaches in Wailea. The harbor, Ma'alaia, where you can catch charters to Molokini and other snorkeling sites is only a 20 min drive away. The rooms were well appointed with modern furniture. A small fridge and microwave were convenient to have in the room. The bathrooms, however, were quite small though also nicely decorated.

Accommodation was superb value for money. The only issue, if we had to pick one, was the hotel restaurant, especially the breakfast menu, which was shocking. That said, the Pool Bar Cafe was fine, so not sure what's going on there...

I was taking a course right In kihei, and did not want to stay in a condo. I chose the Coast chain because I have been very satisfied in past experiences... Well, yet again the coast chain is the best bang for your buck! The location was central, the staff were amazing, and the rooms were ample, clean, with fridge & microwave... Perfect in my opinion who just wants to relax, eat out, and eat leftovers if desired :) I would go back in a heartbeat! I am considering purchasing the timeshare. You just won't go wrong in choosing the Maui Coast Hotel!

Beautiful hotel! If it was waterfront instead of across the street, I'm sure it would have been $450+ per night. It was an incredible value for our money and lacked for nothing. The beach across the street was fairly private and had as nice of sand as the resorts in Kaanapoli. I'd have no problem recommending this to anyone!

Our experience was good!!!!!! Everyone was nice, clean and professional! We wouldn't change a thing! Everything was pretty much close to the hotel, restaurants, beach is about 30 second away!, and the airport is just about 20 minutes away. Not bad at all!!!!!!
