Master Robert Hotel London Guest Reviews

4 out of 5

The Hotel is very close to Heathrow airport, just a few minutes away by tube (subway). Rooms are clean with coffee, tea and sweets available in the room. Very friendly people that will do anything for you, absolutely wonderful traditional English breakfast was included every morning with lots of choices both European and English food. Everything as described, the only one little thing is that WI-FI was not in the room, the place is so big with lots of buildings and in order to use WI-FI you have to go to the reception area, but there is a lot of chairs and sofas available to use. They even offer me some hot drinks and food while I was there. Reasonable price, I would stay there again with my family. This hotel has only non-smoking rooms and there is nice old English Pub with the same name right there, you can have food and drinks any time.

We booked this room online while traveling. We wanted close to the London train system, but not in London proper. While the room was larger than any we'd had at the B&Bs we where we stayed, it was one that was often used for meetings with the bed raised into a wall cabinet. Not a comfortable bed at all. The lighting was too bright and the room and bathroom hadn't been redone in 20-30 years. There were closets in the bathrooms (2 different rooms) used to store old coffee machines, etc. We appreciated the room side parking. The first room we could not get the A/C to work or the door to lock, or the TV to turn on. We were told there was a special thing to do or not do to get them to work or not. Some instructions would have been nice. They moved us next door for the second night. It was the same kind of room. The desk staff was accommodating. Breakfast was good. We ate 2 suppers with one being good. The other, on a Sunday night, we were ignored and had to search for service. We would not recommend this place for anyone.

A convenient hotel for Heath Row airport, or for Richmond and Kew as in our case. Good breakfast! SLightly smokey smell to foyer of room.

excellent location for heathrow and helpful staff on reception. Book your taxi through the hotel and it is cheaper than using a card with the driver. Breakfast was excellent and would definely use again. Loads of Indian places to eat down the road a little bit.

I wouldn't have wanted to pay the full advertised prices for this hotel. It was as clean as they could get it, but quite run down and desperately needs refurbishment (lamp shades in the room mended with sellotape, veneer stripping from furniture, for instance). However, the staff were quite friendly, the food was standard, but good, the sheets and towels were good quality and clean. Not a terrific sleep due to a hard mattress and noisy planes overhead from 6am onwards.
