Massimo Hotel Rome Guest Reviews
We tried to book a shuttle through Massimo directly and Orb. but we were unable to contact the hotel. Several of the Orb. staff tried to contact the hotel but they were unsuccessful in doing so! When we arrived in Rome, we got a shuttle (hired at the airport) to the Massimo Hotel. We were dropped off with all of our luggage and when we tried to enter the building, it was locked. A woman came out yelling at us, "HOTEL PROBLEM! NO MASSIMO!" We were stuck in Rome with no where to go nor any idea of where to go. It was 7:00 at night after traveling for 24 hours and already being charged fully for $179.42 - this amount has already been deducted from my Visa card. This was an appalling, not to mention scary, experience in arriving to such am amazing city where we had been warned of crime and pick-pocketing. We are SO LUCKY that we did NOT HAVE children with us!!!! So, we paid IN FULL for a hotel that we were unable to stay in and are very disappointed that Orb. had no knowledge of the closure of this hotel especially since it had been recommended to us by an Orb. staff member! We expect the full cost of the hotel booking to be refunded on our Visa as SOON AS POSSIBLE! We will call you when we arrive back in Canada.

It is more a guest house than a hotel, with just one floor in an "old style" italian building. However it does have nice and clean rooms.

Approx 10 min walk from Rome Termini station, convenient. There is no hotel frontage, it's located on the 3rd floor, with an old fashion lift which can barely accommodate 2 persons :) breakfast was wholesome. room & bathroom small, but was ok since we only needed to sleep in. will recommend this place.
