Location
Situated in the heart of Brugge, the Martin's Relais Oud Huis Amsterdam Hotel is a short walk to the Market Square along the picturesque Spiegelrei Canal. From the unique location, guests are able to explore and discover the centuries of history that is imbedded in the region.

/the hotel is located in a great part of the city..close to the main center. We enjoyed the quaintness of this Hotel. It is very old and has a lot of charm and character. Bruge is a beautiful and romantic place to visit. We took a carriage ride all around the city

Great location for visiting the town. Very helpful and kind staff. Excellent standard of breakfast. Hotel Car parking seemed expensive especially as we had anticipated it would be included at this hotel from the facilities list. Would certainly pick this hotel again if visiting Brugge which we hope to do as lots more to see and visit.

We were very pleased with this hotel, especially its charm. The only criticism we have is that there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

This hotel was fantastic! Our room was spacious & spotless. The breakfast was also lovely. We would definitely stay here again, very willingly!!

For the price we expected a luxury hotel. We'd upgraded to a premium room, overlooking the canal. We got a dark top floor room with tiny windows. Reception were OK but unapologetic about moving us when we complained. The whole place is in need of refurbishment. Bathroom equipment missing or not wokring: e.g. extractor fan not working, taps falling off when turned. Showers are primitive, though there's plenty of hot water and excellent central heating. The rooms, though big and well furnished, look worn out. But the beds are good. The common areas are stuffed with antiques but shabby: e.g. peeling wall paper. The hotel is under-staffed. The bar is often unattended at peak times. The reception staff is so-so - courteous but not overly concerned. Breakfast was very good. No hotel restaurant although there are lots of great places to eat nearby. The location is wonderful. Bruges is a lovely for a weekend. Next time we'll probably try another hotel.
