I wanted to take my family to the desert for Thanksgiving. Unfortunately we selected a real turkey for a hotel. The television didn't work. The furnace for the room didn't work. The sofa bed in the room was very uncomfortable. Room service didn't leave bath soap or coffee packets. The fitness center actual smelled like a airport restroom. The Staff provided me with the wrong key for the golf locker. My daughter and I walked into Faldo's Bar and Grill for a bite and were confronted by a drunk doing magic tricks. Marriott's Shadow Ridge left us with a dark shadow of disappointment.

The facilities were great and a great place for the family. Although, I was disappointed in the service. Check in is at 3 or 4pm, so when I checked in at 7pm I thought I would have no problem. When I checked in, I was told that my room was not ready, it was 7pm why was it not be ready? So I decided to go have dinner. When I returned at about 8pm, I overheard the check in clerk tell a family that their room was not ready as well. I finally checked in, drove to my room only to find that my keys did not work. I drove back, walked to the check in counter, explained that the keys did not work and was told that I was given the wrong keys to the wrong room. When I finally got the right keys to the correct room, I realized that I was given a handicap room. I sure hope that I did not take someone else's room who would have benefitted better in this space. And finally, it took a long time for the shower water to get warm. I actually started taking a cold shower till midway through, the hot water started to come in. It's a great facility, I only wish the service was better.

AWESOME ARCADE AND WATER SLIDE FOR THE KIDS AND BEAUTIFUL POOL WITH GREAT FOOD AND DRINKS BROUGHT TO YOU LOUNGE CHAIR!

the swimming pool was awesome. our kids wanted to come back, but then there was a charge made to our room we did not aware of at the time of the check out. we find out that somebody used our room # for the food/beverages charges. we weren't happy about checking the id for its charge to our room though they gave us the credit at the time of the check out. this wasn't professional.
