Staff were extremely friendly! We were upgraded from an open plan suite to a 2 bedroom spa suite which was absolutely amazing! Super clean! Location was fabulous! Very close to South Yarra station and a mall with a Coles so we could buy extra nibblies for the kids. Also impressed with the fact that Eminem stayed here! All in all a fabulous hotel! Would definitely love to stay again!

From the moment we walked in the door we were made to feel very welcome. Our disability room included self opening doors and set a standard that is the benchmark other hotels should aim to achieve. Breakfast was really nice and Addie in the restaurant was charming and couldn't do enough for us. Located just around the corner from Chinatown and in the theatre district it is wonderfully located. Recommended strongly.

The hotel stuffs are friendly and helpful and the environment is just superb. Services provided is top notch. Will definitely stay in Marriott again when I visit Melbourne.

The hotel room was large and very comfortable. Good size bathroom too. The tea/coffee making supply was meager - when I called service to get more milk, an extra mug and some slippers the woman was reluctant to do so but did. When I rolled the covers back from our bed there were dark crumbs on the white sheets! Everything looked clean but how did the crumbs get there? Housekeeping was done ok but the mugs didn't look clean and smelt of dried on coffee so I had too pour boiling water over them to clean them. Tea/coffee making supplies were not replenished. It's not a huge thing but this takes away from the whole experience. I would be looking for somewhere else to stay in Melbourne.
