A very nice hotel, directly by the water. Very good to relax. Good drinks and good eat.

Good stay at the Marriott and good location centrally on 7 mile beach. We were diving a good share of the time, so didn't use alot of hotel amenities. Beach was very good and lots of walking areas to the north. Hotel was clean and seemed to be well run. Operators and Concierge were thorough. The Spa is small but had an excellent massage.

This was our 6th visit to Grand Cayman and our 3rd stay at the Marriott, and would highly recommend it. The staff was wonderful and very attentive. The beach a little crowded due to the beach smaller at this time of the year, but all in all a fantastic vacation. As usual, it's rather costly due to the difference between the CI and the US dollar, so plan accordingly so there won't be any suprises with eating out, and btw, 15% gratuity usually automatically added, so check your bills. Will def go back again.

Had to mark down value a bit since everything is over-priced in Cayman. But otherwise, Marriott was great. 2 nice restaurants, good pool area, nice beach with food/ drink service. Wait-staff at hotel restaurants were very good, remembering us and our son and greeting us by name. Biggest downside- beach is pretty small due to erosion (I heard), and the water drops about 18 inches when you are a couple feet out, so couldn't let our son go in the water unattended. No baby pool, either, so a lot of hand holding on the trip. The artificial reef was great for snorkeling without having to take a bus ride into Georgetown.

our hotel was great, right on the beach. The beach is very congested with lots of ppl but the bar staff was very attentive. Grand Cayman is an expensive island but felt it was worth the money.

Walking along seven mile beach, this is the most horrible hotel with very narrow beach. If you like lying down on beach and enjoy the ocean, do not stay here. The property itself may be qualify as 3 star - that's it. Room, decor, cleaness are all bad. The first floor of the hotel smells like stinky fish for some reason. Before I arrived, I have sent an email to require a higher floor since we are travelling with a little kid. I got an email from Marriott back to state that will be taken care of. Yet, we got a room above the bar, which is very noise. Even we are staying for 6 nights, they could not find a better room. Horrible service. I would highly recommend not staying at this property and it is just horrible. Watching the TV news this morning about Marriott locked lots of their guests out on New Year's day due to key issues, I would say that Marriott in general is just in trouble. With service this bad to their customers, what do they expect in the future?

The hotel is a nice hotel. We found all of the staff with the exception of the front desk staff to be helpful, enthusiastic and focused on everyone having a good time. We had some issues with our room related to the communication between the company that sold us the room and the hotel. The company that sold us the room took ownership of the issue and hotel front desk staff basically said it's not our problem it's a problem with the company that sold us the room. However, since hotel agrees to use the company that sold us the room as a vendor this seems odd. The company that sold us the room has a record of all communications between hotel and themselves whereas hotel had no records and basically replied that if you chose to use the company that sold you the room instead of going thorough hotel directly, you will be our last priority guest. I would not recommend this hotel given there blame-everyone-but-us attitude. However, I would use the company that sold us the room again. They handled it great. Hotel was a problem. Also, the beach is very small and for the front desk attitude we got, I'm sure there are better hotels around that would love the business.

Man made reef right out front was great! Hotel needs some sprucing up in the hallways but room was fine and common areas very comfortable. Outdoors was spectacular!

Perfect for a couples getaway or a family stay. Staff were genuinely friendly and very helpful. Location was perfect...you can walk to many shops and restaurants or hop on the bus ($3 fare) easily to get around if you don't want to rent a car. Prices at the hotel restaurants and bar were typically high, so you may want to get your food and drinks across the street at another establishment...i.e. the Aqua Reef Bar & Grill was great for good quality food and drinks at a much more reasonable price. The hotel advertises great snorkeling at their reef balls, but we'd suggest going up the Seven Mile Beach a bit to the Cemetery Beach location and snorkeling there for a much more natural setting. Overall, it was a fantastic vacation. We enjoyed Grand Cayman and the Marriot very much and plan to return one day.

This was my first time in Grand Cayman and it was selected because of ease of getting around and safety reviews. . The Marriott has excellent accomodations and the staff were very attentive and helpful. My first stop was the spa for a massage which was good also. I found the local buses found in front of the hotel to be easy to use and very reasonable as well as this was very safe place. This was a wonderful vacation spot for just relaxing.

Marriott Grand Cayman Beach Hotel is what My wife & I have come to expect when staying @ a Marriott property thats why we chose to stay there sight unseen. Didn't disappoint. The grounds are beautiful & well manicured,Loved to watch the turtles roam free in the fountain lagoon. We used both Hotel pool & Beach.Off season so niether was overcrowed.Slept well in standard Room w/2-Double beds & patio.Very friendly Staff from Front Desk to concierge, bell man,Beach towel and umbrella staff always asking if we needed anything. They were helpful with suggestions of local attractions , restaurants & directions. Hotel was central location on 7 mile Beach so we were able to walk to several locations for example Cocunut Joes,Aquabeach & Cimboco restaurants and Jet night club.Taxis are available @ hotel or you can take local Bus to Georgetown or any where else. Great relaxing Stress/Hassle free trip. Can't wait to go back!
