Marrakech Hotel New York Guest Reviews (7)
I booked a deluxe room at the Marrakech for my wife and I. Nothing deluxe about room 205 it was 8ft x 10ft dark with an old dirty carpet. The bed was pushed against a wall, no bedside table or light, no storage space for clothes other than 4 hangers. Loose floorboards and certainly no sound insulation, you could hear every sound the neighbours made. A tiny window had an aircon unit in the lower part which was home to some pigeons and an outer brick wall. The bathroom was about 4ft square with the toilet tight against a wall.

Helpful and polite staff. Small rooms. Decent drinks at bar but bar not open enough. A bit out the way but subway station almost at the door helps greatly. Compared to other hotels in Manhattan it's priced pretty reasonably and the air conditioning was great in the summer! I'd probably go back.

Ok..we are in Manhattan, where prices are usually crazy. Then, even if doesn't look like, it's a great deal. Subway stop and a starbucks just outside, internet in the lobby and helpful staff. On the bad side there are no elevators ( but they will help you with the bags) and the rooms are pretty small (some of them without closet), but they are clean and with comfortable beds. After all I highly reccomend it and I would definitely go back there!

The place where we could use the internet was very very dark. couldn't see the keybord. Further: we were with 3 people in one room with ,3 suitcases. There was not one cupboard in the room to put your clothes in. Very poor situation, so we couldn't unpack for 9 days .There were though 2 bars where we could hang some clothes but that was it.

No elevators and 6 flights of skinny stairways; no ice/beverage/snack machines in building; bare minimum in rooms; shady location on Broadway
