We just got back from our vacation in Mexico. We really liked the size of the condominium (1400 sf). The resort is very clean, but not very large, if you like nice, clean place, this is it. There is a kids club and nanny service (5 nights minimum stay to get free nanny) at no extra charge. There are three restaurants, we really liked Ricardo at Omaggio, he recommended some really great dishes, and was very friendly. All the food is served a la carte. The pool is kind of small, and there is no beach. however you can always use pools at their sister property ( Marival suites) And enjoy VIP beach. We had All inclusive package, we went on Dolphin and sea lion shows, and did , zip line, and catamaran as well. Make sure You take a lot of single dollars for tips. The exchange rate is better at the airport than the hotel. There is a taxi service from the airport, you should see there kiosks at the exit, we paid 230 pesos. Be aware of Sharks ( time share people), you will encounter them inside the airport, they will offer you discounts activities, in order to attend sales presentation, don't take them. One thing I didn't like about Marival residence is as follows: up on our arrival, somebody took our reservation paper work and sit us at the bar, after awhile one of the sales girls came by with our room key and started explaining and describing different amenities at the resort, then she asked us to attend a time share presentation ( they call it vacation rental), she offered $80 dollars coupon that we can use at their spa. However she asked to pay $10 deposit, that way they will be sure we attend their presentation, this was a turn off for us. We declined the offer, and asked to have some time before making a decision to attend the presentation. Just be aware of that. I don't mind having someone approaching me about time share, but not right after a long trip.

We arrived on our 45th anniversary and thought we had arranged the private anniv special dinner which had been advertised and which I confirmed three times w/orbitz agent that anniv special was included. when we arrived we asked at the desk and also the concierge and they said they knew nothing about it and would not do it. Needless to sa we were upset. The balance of trip was better but hotel would be better if beach was nt a golf cart ride away. The food was at best fair. We would not go back.
