Everything average, the cleaness, breakfast, staff and reception. The good thing is the room is big and have enough bed for four persons. The bad thing is the location is far from the city. The room is far from carpark and the facility is old. The swimming pool is a bit dirty. I can see the band aid in it.

located in a what looks to be the most desert let area on the Gold Coast, one of the pools was green, the restaurant and bar only open on weekends, no room service, no shops within walking distance, very isolated, surrounded by residential town houses I would not recommend this to anyone

Decor is a little dated. Hotel is away from any facilities, restaurants etc. but if remoteness is what you want then you will probably like it. Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was good. Overall not bad for the price

had a job finding and I have stayed here once before. GPS takes you to a dead end as John Lund Drive is a split road and there is a lot of new development going on. I only stayed 1 night and can't knock it for value, but not much around and I was too tired to wander around.

Supposedly a Queen Deluxe Room with Marina Views. Room was small and we were at the very back of the complex with views of other room and could not see the Marina at all. The pool was filthy and the bottom of it was green. The bed was hard and uncorfortable and the tv was old and outdated with minimal tv shows to choose from. Very unaccomodating staff in a complex that lacked any warmth or atmosphere. The "restaurant" is now only opened for breakfast and you are in the middle of nowhere so you have to drive for a meal. We will definitely not be returning or recommending this place.

room smelt like dirty sneakers even after spraying with perfume couldnt get rid of the odour, reception looked for spay but aparently they dont use :( we were offered another room but already unpacked and had no better view, so we chose to stay, maybe leaving the screen locked and glass door open for a while may help with their cleaniness. Told we had a marina view, overlooked the pool could see the masts though. very small television as theres not much around to see or do dissapointed at the price and room wont stay again

The hotel seemed to be at a point where a refurb was in order. The furniture had tears in the seating paint work was chipped carpets in hall ways were not clean and had rips. The swimming pool was not clean and the spa pool had the switch to turn it on missing. The location was great for us but I would not stay again.

Reasonable hotel, good value for money, especially given we stayed on one of the busiest weekends of the year on the Gold Coast. Location is a bit out of the way and a little difficult to find, takes about 25 minutes to drive to the coast itself. The room was clean and well presented (appeared to have been recently repainted) however, the linen was quite worn, especially the towels, one of which had a 10cm rip in it. Breakfast was included in room price but was lacking in variety and at 8am on Sunday morning most of the hot food had run quite low and the fruit patter on the buffet was empty apart from two pieces of watermelon. Would consider staying again if looking for a cheap overnight stay on a weekend, however, at less peak times hotels closer to Surfers Paradise would probably be better value.

This motel is supposed to a 4* but the room was very tired and in need of a make over. The sofa seats were stained and covers coming off, chairs were stained, desk was stained, bed looked like it was not made, and the toilet wasn't cleaned from previous occupiers with urine still on the seat. The remote for the air con did not work, and the reception is very difficult locate from the roads into the complex with little to none way finding signage.

Appeared to be operating with minimal staff and poor servicing of room equipment eg phone cable broken, air-con barely working. Staff were obliging and food was excellent but overall stay disappointing.

Location is not good for public transport user. However, is ok if you rent a car. Less than 10 mins to Movieworld and 20 mins to Surfers Paradise by car.

Nice large room with private balcony overlooking a marina. Great place to wind down and relax away from the busy beach suburbs. Excellent value for money. Only downsides were it's location in terms of finding the hotel... it would have been almost impossible to find without the GPS, no web acess in the room, premises could do with a small facelift but apart from that we would stay there again.

Reception unattended when we arrived. Airconditioning in room not working properly - unbearable during night. No ice in fridge. No minibar as stated. Toiletries (shampoo, body lotion etc) in pump packs on wall were all empty. Buffet breakfast was a disaster to say the least. No food available, no glasses for juice, no bowls for cereal, no cups for tea/coffee and no coffee at one point. Very unorganised. Disappointing as the hotel is in a pretty location with great sized rooms and reasonable faciliaties - if only the room standard had been maintained.
