Location
Marina International's coastal location is close to LAX International Airport and many renowned sites like the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles. Tours of Hollywood, home of the Walk of Fame and the Hollywood Sign, are available from the hotel.

very nice stay. enjoyed the spa in the evening after coming back. room is big and pretty comfortable.

I booked a room for a one night business stay in Marina Del Rey. Not knowing what hotel was best, I went based on decription and price...mistake. The rooms at the Marina International Hotel have not been updated probably since the 1980's. I decided to book a city view room, not knowing that I was going to have the pleasure of staying in a room that overlooked an active construction site. The hotel only had basic cable, so there were about 6 channels to choose from. There was an ice bucket in my room, but the ice machine in the vending area had been removed. The shower took forever to get hot water. All and all it was the biggest waste of my money so far this year in my travels.

It's my fault. I read the other reviews but waited until the last minute. All the other hotels were booked, and this one had only two rooms left. So I took it. The carpets were dirty and stained in the lobby, halls, and the room. The tub was moldy, the maintenance and repairs were shotty at best. The bathroom floor had been replaced with different style and age vinyl flooring. The tub enclosure was dark brown tile. The faucet had been worked on and the wall patched with light brown tile of a different size. The parking garage is 5' 10" be carful. Not worth the cost. Hotel 6 would have been just as good. I'm not a negative person. If you go to San Diego, Ca, use the Marriott at 595 Hotel Circle south. It was great and the same price.

Great hotel, clean and very friendly all around. They provide parking pass which was nice. Our TV was a bit disappointing, very small and the first 10 channels were snow. Free internet is always nice, compared The W which wouldn't give us free internet and cost double this hotel.

Rooms are clean but rooms do not have climate control (central controled) therefore you need to call to get someone to change your room temperature ( and will take tehm from 1 - 3 hrs to do it); you end up with overheaded or freezen room) something you do not think if you have your in-room temperature controls. I neeed to move to another closed by hotel
