Dear Sir/Madam, I was accomodated at Mari hotel Rome from 19 to 29 April 2012. Arriving the manager asked for full payment for the room immediatly.I suggested i may wish to upgrade should i view the room first.I later informed the manager my T V did not operate and dispite his assurances he would replace it I did not see him again on all the occasions i went to his office.On the eighth day of my stay the cleaner left a note in my room informing me to remove from room 5 to room 8 in two days.I could not find the manager to discuss this move.The cleaner came at the appointed day and we removed not to room 8 but out of the hotel along the street to another hotel. Arriving at my new room in an apartment I was to share facilities with a very elderly lady who appeared quite unwell.Her cries during the night concerned me greatly.She had devices to assist her rise from her stretcher bed and our shared toilet. So you may appriciate my stay at your Hotel Mari was not a little unusual or is this standard? Thank you and kind regards,Lance.

This hotel was very clean and ideally located close to Termini. Great bathroom. But note that the hotel and reception are up three flights of stairs - no lift. Not too bad if staying a few nights but a one night stopover was taxing. I would stay here again but for more than one night.
