My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. The staff were very helpful. Breakfast was good. Transport to Positano is good by bus or boat. I would definitely stay here again.

Service was really good. They even made us food when the kitchen was closed. There is a little market about a 10 minute walk towards the Praino beach from the hotel. Not much else around in walking distance but there is a bus. The bus circles with 2 destinations, the beach and Positano. It's confusing but it passes quite often. The view from the hotel is great but we had a room that opened to a brick wall ... not sure why they put a window in. There is a roof terrace and a pool area right below, small pool but nice.

This family run hotel is nicely positioned overlooking the sea with parking facilities (I mention this specifically as parking is at a premium on the Amalfi Coast) & well run by Margherita & (presumably) her family & staff. The chef sings whilst making breakfast which is nice! The rooms are excellent & beautifully decorated but you MUST request a room with a view otherwise you could end up with a window bathed in darkness by a concrete wall approx' 20 inches away as we did! Restaurants, bars, shops etc are all within walking distance (sit outside at the Sol Bar & watch the world go by, & enjoy the view of the church & sea beyond). Can certainly recommend the Margherita. What do I say. Blown away by the facilities, service and especially the staff. Family run hotel in a fantastic location in lovely Praiano. Local bus to Positano stops right outside every 20 mins. Upgraded from back room with not much of a view to room with fantastic view 2nd night. Great breakfast, great price, great value for money would highly recommend and will stay there again.
