Location
Mare Nostrum is located in the southern region of Tenerife Island near the city of Arona. The Central Park of Arona exhibits the natural vegetation of the Canary Islands. Guests can view wildlife at Tenerife Zoo or Monkey Park.

I have stayed at this resort many times and find it convenient and with good service. the rooms look a little dated though.

The location of the whole Mare Nostrum Resort is quite convenient with easy access to the beach. But this is actually the main touristic centre, and it is extremely crowded. Also the beach near the hotel is not the best quality - every day we went to Playa del Duque (10EUR by taxi, not so far away), which is much better. The good thing about the hotel is the parking inside the territory (if you rent a car). Also breakfast was quite good. Actually the hotel is quite old and you can see that, but it is still keeping it up to 5-star status.

Very nice place! Good food in the restaurants and the breakfast was exellent.

Very good location. A place I have returned to several times. Rooms looking ready for a facelift though.
