Port Douglas Mantra Portsea is on Davidson Street, near Port Douglas Airport and Packers Creek. During free time, Port Douglas vacationers can tee off at Sheraton Mirage Golf Course or shop at Portico Shopping Centre.

Small rooms, not modern No ironing board facilities in the room Room was not serviced by second night....when enquired I was told that it was $33 dollars extra which was never stipulated when booking. Overall poor experience had at this resort and overpriced for what you get.

Nice place to stay. Close to beach, you can walk or catch a local bus just outside into town. Hotel room good, bed comfortable. The pool water was cold but they all might be up there, I was unable to swim. Overall had a great stay

Disappointed that I requested a queen bed and received 2 single beds pushed together of which they were varying heights so there was a ridge in the middle of the bed. It made for an uncomfortable nights sleep. Also dissapointed to be put in a room near the rubbish and laundry diposal. I stayed 4 nights and was woken EVERY morning at 7:15am by rubbish collectors. Not a very restful or relaxing stay. Bit poor that you have to pay for extra tea, coffee, sugar etc.

About ten minutes walk into the town area; but there is a bus stop opposite with a frequent service into town. Very good access to the beach with a walk way adjacent to the hotel. Secure area for left luggage if you have a late transfer. Lounge area for early arrivals with TV and internet access. The pool and spa areas are very good, popular with families during our stay. The reception staff were very helpful. The hotel looked as if it has been recently refurbished. We stayed in a double room, which had everything we needed for a short stay. The suites looked good for a longer stay.

We were very dissapointed with this place. Hardly any staff. "self-service' for anything you need, the fan didn't work, grubby doors. But the worst aspect was the small room with no balcony.
