An excellent and well run budget hotel. Clean and well situated for easy ferry access to Downtown Sydney and close to a wonderful beach. The whole area is delightful

Overall a good cheap place to stay in Manly , only real negative for me was the room I had smelt strongly of damp . Maybe more attention should be given to airing unused rooms .

The room we stayed in (Ground floor) requires some minor maintainance. One of the beds was covered in sand. The shared bathrooms with showers on the ground floor had doors that did not lock (or close) and generally need to be renovated and cleaned. We used the bathroom on the 1st floor which had been renovated and more pleasant to use. Parking off-street was ok. Manly Guest House offered a parking permit ($10 per day) which allowed all day parking in the 2hr Permit Zone. The location however was great, it was nice and close to the beach and ferry. Would stay there again if the room/bathrooms were renovated.

Enjoyed our stay at the Manly Guest House, great location near the beach and so convenient for the ferry into Circular Quay
