Maninarakorn Hotel Chiang Mai
4 out of 5

Quite a spacious room, and in a pretty good location outside the old city walls, but very close to the market area. Staff are professional and friendly, and the facilities were very good. Free drink every day!

I spend a few days in Chiang Mai every year and always change the hotel around. Maninarakorn is good choice at this price for the location, facilties and service. It's not in the center of Night Market so it's quite. But it's still in walking distance to Night Market and easy to find a taxi bus to/from Walking Street. There are some cheap local restuarants nearby and a 24-hours convenient in front of the hotel.

Well located and tried to please at all times. Excellent massage facilities though watch for the unexpected special. East to come and go and central to all areas.

The basic room was OK, however it was very cheap so all good considering the money. The Maninarakorn suite was AMAZING. The architecture and design just beautiful. Highly recommended and great value for the money.

The hotel is good location but the breakfast is not up to the standard.

Breakfast was bland and lacked any real choice, swimming pool was extremely small with only 6 sunbeds for the entire hotel. the rooms were large with separate lounge but very basic and were not part of the main hotel requiring walking down three flights and crossing a road to get to the main area for any of the facilities

The hotel in general is good, the location is great, walking distance from several places in town. The price is a little high for Thailand, and the breakfast is not very good. But in general the staff is nice, free internet in the lobby (not in the rooms). Recommend it.

Very impressed with staff, organised room quckly and efficiently. Nothing was to hard for the staff, organised tours, and taxis as we requested. Hotel room very clean and plenty of room to move around in. Hot breakfasts awesome. Very close to night and weekend markets. We wished we had organised for a longer visit. We will be visiting yearly and intend to stay at the Maninarakorn Hotel each time.

Great hotel, conviniently located. Comfortable rooms with better decoration and setting than most hotels and modern bathroom. Staff was very helpful and obliging. We had booked 2 consecutive nights and left for a 2 day trekking then booked a 3 night and they arrnaged to store our luggage and also allowed us to leave our valuables in their safe. Definitely a hotel I would recommend.

this hotel is good value .our room was in a separate building to reception.we had a living room and a bedroom.it was very spacious but in need of an update. the downside is that we had to walk up a set of narrow stairs.no problem for us but not suitable for some.the breakfast was basic .the staff very helpful even though some of them had only basic english

We stay here in August 2009, location is great just a walking distance to markets and restaurants, clean and very friendly people... one bad comment breakfast wasn't the best.

Staff were lovely, really helpful, couldn't do enough for us. Room was clean and had everything you would expect in a decent hotel. Selection of foods for breakfast was interesting, but we managed to put together an acceptable meal. Pricing was VERY good and made for a budget break at a better than budget hotel. Would be happy to stay there again.
