It was a very busy time when I checked in with Christmas shopping and a festival in full swing. I had been upgraded to an executive suite as the hotel was full. I had only 1 night a short stay in Singapore. I made the out of the room and really enjoyed my sleep. I had room service that night as the restaurants were closing when I was readily to eat. A few little details were missing like long life mile in the fridge rather than coffee mate. No salt or napkin with the room service which also had a lot of extra tax and charges added to it. Everything else was 6 star with a beautiful bed, pillows and towels. All the bath products were excellent. The coffee dip into the cup was a real hit. The one thing I feel the hotel needs is a quiet bar with comfortable lounges and no loud music. It was really a 5 star experience.

The room was not ready when I check in at at 6 PM. I was told that due to the delay I will be upgraded to a club room. When I return after dinner at 11 PM I was given an upgrade to a so- called premier room where Air-conditioning not cool enough, inadequate hot water and switches on wall loose. Terrible experience overall. Used to be a good hotel before.
