Beautiful resort wih plenty of amenities. Great location for an early departure - easy access to rental car dropoff and airport . Left wanting to return again and spend more time at Mandalay Bay!

Great service and room amenities. Fantastic restaurants in Mandalay Bay. The only drawback is that the casino is a bit quiet - being at the very southern end of the strip. However the monorail takes you direct to Excalibur. Would definitely stay again. Highly recommended, smooth checkin, checkout, great pools.

First time in Las Vegas. Thought Mandalay would be great for the family. But it wasn't what I thought it would be . Pool closes way too early. No fridge, no coffee maker in the room . TV barely works, and channels selections were poor. Idock for iPod doesn't even work . Toilet got clogged on the second day we were there. Probably won't be coming back . Oh , the beach is like a sand box full of chairs, service is quite slow . And closes way too early.

Check in was fast and flawless. When we walk into the room, we noticed that the bathroom door doesn't have a lock. the back of the flat screen tv has a lot of dust and there's 2 pieces of ladies underwear hanging behind the tv. My wife was very disgusted! The shower room floor has molds on them, the bath tub was slippery. The soap is not even creating any bubbles, the lotion sticks on your body like a white cream. My son was playing ball and the ball went under the bed, when I knelt down to get the ball, there are food crumbs on the floor like it has not been vacuumed for years. I would not recommend this room for anyone. I lost my sunglasses at the lazy river and ask the lifeguard how to retrieve it but got passed on from one lifeguard to another, no one seem to know the policy for lost & found. very poor management. All in all, we felt that we didn't get our money's worth. We are locals and we felt that we were cheated by not getting the right service for our moneys worth.

Mandalay Bay is a high quality, good service hotel, to be sure. One could never leave its premises and have a long weekend of pampered treatment, great food, and fun times - a true resort. The one thing folks should do prior to booking Mandalay Bay, though, is to think about what ELSE they'll be doing, because it's at the far south end of the strip and not close to many of the other attractions. In a town full of monorails, cabs, and walkways, this is a very minor concern, but it's the only thing I can think of that could dampen the appeal of this otherwise great hotel.

We booked a standard, non-smoking room for under $100. When we checked in, they didn't have the king bed room that we requested. No worries - I would have accepted two queen beds. Instead, they upgraded us to the Great Room Suite. It was an awesome suite with a commanding view of the strip. What service! The hotel is also linked to two other hotels/casinos by a handy tram system making a tour of the Strip that much easier. The only thing that could have been better is if Las Vegas would go smoke-free.

I love Mandalay Bay. You can stay and really have no need to go anywhere else... fun bars, great food, music, attractions, pool, you name it.... I must say I was most impressed with the staff at Mandalay Bay. The housekeeping staff was always kind and looked so "put together". They greeted us every day with a smile. Front desk staff and all bartenders and wait staff we encountered were so personable. This really makes for a great vacation experience!!

The Mandalay Bay Hotel was a nice hotel, they offered a lot of different restaurants to eat at. We came to Las Vegas to see the Tool concert at Mandalay Bay. The hotel is a little expensive, they make you pay a $20 a day resort fee to use their wifi and gym. The catch is that its to their Cardio gym only so you can't have access to the weight room unless you pay an additional $25 a day to use the full facilities. I found that to be a rip off and inconvenience. Also, the convention center at Mandalay Bay would not allow us to take pictures at the concert which sucked. If security saw you take out your cellphone they would quickly shut you down. I was a little disappointed with that. Other than that this was a good hotel to stay in. They have a good variety of slot machines and the minus 5 degree bar was pretty cool. All in all its a good place to stay, I'm not really a Vegas kind of person. I prefer tropical locales.....

Rm 17117 smelled old and stale. Rm 17119 smelled of mildew and vomit with a wet patch of carpet between the beds. Instead of cleaning, they gave us a blower that made so much noise we could not hear each other nor sleep. Cannot reach Guest Services on the house phone, had to use my cell phone to call the outside number. My bill was incorrect at check out and spent a lot of time before it was corrected.

Check in was fast & easy. The room was very clean and I am paranoid about hotels.. Cleaning staff did an EXCELLENT job. Hotel is on the south end of the strip across from the airport but I didn't ever notice it. There was always a smell of jet fuel in the air outside. Buffet is expensive - $34 and offers standard fare. I was expecting more for that price.

It was great. Service, amenities, EXCEPT for 2 things. 1) Very important. There are NO chairs in the lobby or halls. No place for a resort visitor to just chill while waiting to meet someone, sip coffee and read for a few minutes, or just people watch. I did use the restaurants and the casino, but sometimes a person just needs to sit. I will not go back. 2) the Mlife card is annowying. If you forget to show it, it is impossible to get credit.

The Manadaly Bay is a great hotel. It's clean, elegant and the staff is very curteous and helpful. Although it is located at one far end of the Las Vegas strip, the shuttle and train service makes it easy to get to the other hotels. We enjoyed the fact that it was not a loud and boysterous place. The restaurants, too, are wonderful! We would definitely stay there again!

Aside from a staffer with a bad outlook on life at the Red White and Blue Deli, the stay at the hotel was delightful. It was clean, cozy and comfortable. With its tram to the adjacent hotels getting around was easy and quick. I will be back.
