Valletta is served by Malta International Airport, just 5 miles (8 km) from the city. Buses are available for reaching accommodations.
Most areas are just for pedestrians, so walking is quite easy in the city. Depending upon where visitors are travelling to on the island, public buses may be easier than walking. Ferry services are available to explore areas such as Sliema. Travellers can set out on horse carts to get a unique perspective of the city as well.
