Bukit Tinggi Climate

With its tropical rainforest climate, Bukit Tinggi has warm and sunny weather all year long. During monsoon season (October to March), rainfall is abundant with averages of 100 inches (2,600 mm) or more. Maximum temperatures for the area hover around 91°F (33°C), but usually don't exceed 100°F (38°C).

Getting There & Around

In Klang, where Bukit Tinggi is located, the area is well connected by motorways, rail and bus routes. By air, flights will come into Kuala Lumpur, and from there visitors can reach the town by various forms of ground transport.

In town, tourists can walk, take a bus or ride in a taxi to get to most attractions. Walking is best when spending the day shopping and strolling through the malls and retail areas of town.

When To Go

While Bukit Tinggi makes for a cool oasis, on occasion, from the urban swelter of KL, temperatures still waver in the 71.5°F (22°C) to 88°F (31°C) range.

Rainfall is heavy and frequent in the Bentong district of Pahang, most notably in the months of October, November, December, March and April. The low month for precipitation is June, with 5 in (125 mm) on average.
