by the time you get back from the beach , shopping or dinner the pool would have enjoyable , but it closed at 7pm it would have been nice if the pool was open much later , and there was a hot tub . Would be nice to have a cook on hand that could cook , worst steak I ever had . It was a 3 star place

This is a beautiful hotel with the worst service I have ever seen. This is the first time I stayed at a resort where the bellboy watches you carry your own bags from the car, where the waitstaff at breakfast bring your food and don't come back until they bring your check 45 minutes later, where the housekeeping doesn't clean anything - you clean your own coffee pot and cups, they don't always replace your towels - you have to ask, and they offer you $5 credit at the gift shop if you let them go without cleaning your room all week.

The hotel looks beautiful in pictures, however once you are there is very outdated, the beds were dented right in the middle, the carpet dirty and furniture stained. The bathroom water did not flow very well, I asked if I could move and get a better room the next night, they promised I could and I never got a new room, instead they brought a roll-away bed that was with dirty sheets. The maids did not replaced the dirty towels, I had to ask for towels. The service was very poor. They charge an additional $10.00 a night for amenities: free parking, gym, pool, and the use of a computer. I did like having a computer to use and print my e-ticket. However, I do not think that should be charge extra. The hotel is located on a not so clean area of Oahu, the Northwest side, it looks more like a ghetto area. I was not able to check out late; the staff is not very flexible. I asked for take out food on the breakfast buffet and they could not give me an answer since they needed to find a manager.

Beautiful golf resort, good place if you don't want to stay right in the middle of the congested Waikiki area -- but only a 45-min drive in whenever necessary (e.g. that mandatary Ala Moana shopping one needs!) Very kind & accommodating staff, clean facilities. Pool is a bit "small" and not "spectacular" but will suffice for sunbathing & slight swimming. Ask for rooms w/a little kitchen (e.g. #904), since there are not that many restaurants near by; I suggest grocery shop & keep necessary items in fridge, etc. Also try the other golf course nearby (not connected to this resort but just around the corner). All in all, a good place to stay.
