Mahaweli Reach Hotel Kandy Guest Reviews
Exellent hotel, nice room, good swimming pool and very good food. The only problem is that the hotel is 3 Km' from Kandy's center.

The holtel is placed on the river which is lovely, but it is too far from the main town. Not good. The room was old and some of the electrics didn't work. The resturant staff were very nice. The front desk staff were hopeless. When we checked in they didn't really talk to us so how they knew which room we booked I'm now not sure. When we checked out they tried to get us to pay when we had already paid over the net. They didn't keep the confirmation given to them by me at the start of our stay, lucky we had a copy and a forceful driver. Not very happy with this as again they weren't bothering to talk to us they just kept us waiting while they talked amoungst themselves..... Not good enough..

Bathrooms are a bit tired. Staff were excellent, friendly and always helpful.

HOTEL IS A LITTLE WAY FROM THE CENTRE OF TOWN WHICH MEANS YOU NEED A CAR OR TUKTUKTO GET IN TO KANDY OTHERWISE ALL OK
