Hotel should advise business section from other parts of the hotel. Hot breakfast bar one of the better i have seen. Some maintance is needed but overall is a good place to stay.

You pay for what you get. If you want a cheap holiday then this is ok. The pool was cold, but it was December when we visited. The staff were lovely! and made us feel very welcome.

We really enjoyed the room. It was very comfortable. BUT the best part was the retaurant at the hotel. My mother is very particular so when she said her steak was PERFECT, I almost feel out of my chair. The scenery for dinner was beautiful and the room was, too. And they give guests discounts on their meals.

This Howard Johnson is of the age of late 80's vintage. There were items that needed maintenance, though there is an definite intent to maintain this older hotel. The water fall flowing into the pool was nice to fall asleep to and covered up the courtyard/ pool area Eco of people coming and going. How ever it stopped at 12:45 at night and start up at 4:45 am. The abrupt absence of soothing water fall would wake most people especially on Friday and Saturday nights due to the Restaurant/Bar partying of who ever was there. The music bass would penetrate the room walls rendering one thinking you were in traffic next to teen with too much stereo for house let alone a car. The first Saturday night after the bass stopped and music ended at 2:05, the neighbors came home to share there excitement. No sleep, only a movie to drown out the neighbors .... If you are a single person and are a night owl, this place is for you. I would not recommend this hotel for some one working 10 to 12 hours a day attempting to get decent sleep or a family. Good full breakfast in the morning, with a kind and caring staff. The bed was very comfortable ...... only thing that helped the sleep on Friday and Saturday nights......thank you, John

I read before booking, that the hotel had been somewhat recently updated. Updating doesn't help much if cleanliness is bad. Our shower/tub wasn't very clean, and there were black hairs all over the floor. The shower/toilet room was so small, it was hard getting in and out for even a small, petite person. The toilet lid was so loose, we nearly slid off. The water pressure was horrible. The carpet looked nasty, and it was noisy. It is the kind of place where the hallways our outside...not enclosed in a building. People above us were out on their balcony making a lot of noise and smoking. The only thing good was the free breakfast, and convenience of location.
