Macia Monasterio Los Basilios Hotel Granada Guest Reviews (18)
This is an excellent hotel. I found difficulty in finding my way to the hotel from Granada airport, and would have wished for a map and directions for the whole of this journey to be available on the internet. My only other criticism was of the quality of the coffee availbable at breakfast, which was dispensed from a machine, and was rather unpalatable.

The rooms are very simple. So are the lounges. Breakfast buffet very good.

Service was excellent and the room was also fantastic - all in all more reminiscient of a 4* than a 3* hotel. The only slight problem was that there were no double beds left in the new wing (the old wing is not very nice-small rooms and old beds with a view of a football pitch) which I had thought I had booked. Currently there are no facilities on this site to ensure you get a double bed rather than twin singles. The view from the new wing is of the surrounding sierra - brilliant. The location slightly out of the centre was also fantastic as you can find several restaurants which are not aimed at tourists, and you can get away from the busy centre into the tranquil green by the river every evening. Highly recommended.

Good, reasonably priced hotel. It is not luxurious, but adequate and just what you need, clean, comfortable & efficient.

Although the rooms are basic, they are spotlessly clean. The staff are very friendly and the location of the hotel is perfect .... right in the middle of Granada and within walking distance of the Alhambra Palace. I can't wait to visit Granada again, and will definitely be booking into this hotel again.
