It wasn't bad and maybe all Vegas hotels are like this. The whole place stank of cigarette smoke . Most in house restaurants were open to the smoke filled gambling areas.Restaurant prices not too bad. No way to get anywhere round the hotel except going thru smoke filled areas. Monorail stop close to hotel so good. Only $15 fare to airport . I'd go for a totally non smoking hotel next time .

Generally it is an OK hotel. Reasonable facilities, good location but over priced compared to the opposition. The 'resort fee' covers internet, use of the swimming pool and a daily newspaper. On the surface that is excessive but even more so when you consider the internet speed is something akin to ancient dial up with the associated dropouts. Better quality and value to be had elsewhere.

Do not stay here if you like to sleep!! We booked the petit king room for 5 nights...big mistake. We had to move rooms twice!! First night was in the west tower...slumville! Noisy, it was like you were sharing a dorm with the rest of the corridor. So then we paid to upgrade to the grand room ( newly renovated) fine until 5.30am when we had a room full of girls next door who thought the party was now going to be in their room..security sorted that out quickly. Same again next night at 4.30am, security came again. I went to reception again & explained...they moved us to another grand room & gave us a comp buffet for inconvenience. They dont have a floor/ area in the hotel that is for families or those of us that like sleep. Wouldnt stay here again because of this. Rooms were lovely but noise factor is the issue.

Mgm is huge and has everything you need in the one hotel. The room was clean but small and the bed was not particularly comfortable. It is a pretty good location down one end of the strip.

Internet connection was poor, was charged $25 per night but it kept cutting out. We stayed here for our 20th anniversary, we were given an upgrade and were charged $20 per night for this as well, plus tax. So all up, cost me another $100 on top of what i paid. Overall it's in a good location, the staff weren't that helpful and it was clean.
