Location
Luxor Hotel stands noticeable along Las Vegas Boulevard South in Sin City, close to McCarran International Airport. Tourists can spend downtime looking at the exhibits at Madame Tussauds and Pinball Hall of Fame.

We went to 9 different resorts while in Vegas.This is the only one that had elevators that shook as they were moving. Had a hard time keeping balance. Much of the flooring and carpet was worn and patched. We had no hot water our last day. They said they could fix it but we were going to leave shortly for the airport. They did return our resort fee because of the water problem. I would never stay there again, even if it was free.

We requested a late check-in and the staff was very helpful, and even upgraded our room, since there were no more of the room type we requested. The room was outstanding, great theme, and quality fit and finish. The casino itself is easily navigable, unlike many on the strip, and everything from parking to the text or email checkout was a breeze. The only gripe anyone might have is that the Luxor is close to the end of the strip which means a bit of a hike to some of the other casinos, but the monorail is always available, and close, so take advantage of that and you'll have a great time.

Outside of the room temperature, and front desk telling me the heat was due to the a/c being turned off during the winter (which is one of the stupidest excuses I've ever been told), it was a nice stay. I asked the front desk clerk to 'still' put in a request to have engineering come check out the A/C, someone came up and fixed it within the hour.

In a time where everyone has several devices with WiFi they only have 1 cable in the room.

We went on a week long vacation as a family and stayed at the Luxor. The prices for breakfast and lunch were extremely overpriced and there was no coffee maker or mini fridge in the room. We bought a small coffee maker for the room and non-perishable groceries to help with the rest of the stay. The hotel was very average and nothing special. I was not very impressed.
