Location
The Lopesan Costa Meloneras is located within the exclusive Meloneras area of Maspalomas. It is perfect for exploring other resorts such as lively Playa del Ingles, or the picturesque fishing village of Puerto de Mogan.
Rooms
There are a total of 1,136 rooms ranging from standard doubles to royal suites. Each room has a marble bath, air-conditioning and large balconies. Beach towels and hairdryers are also included.
Restaurant
The Lopesan Costa Meloneras has a choice of restaurants ranging from The Ambassador serving nouvelle cuisine to the Cafe Bar Tertulia offering snacks and desserts during the day and entertainment in the evening. The selection of bars include Bolero Ballroom and cocktail bar.
General
There are six fully-equipped conference rooms on the Lopesan Costa Meloneras complex, as well as a cinema. Also on-site is the Spa Corallium with 14 rooms and 80 treatments, along with four swimming pools.

Had an excellent two days here. Some problems with check in and out but managed to get sorted. Very large and inpersonal but could not fault how well restaurants were ran with so many people.

Huge resort with about thousand rooms, but layout is very clever and outside areas are extensive, thus it never feels too crowded - at least in the shoulder season. There is massive spa with excellent facilities, very professional and pleasant treatments, granted, for some extra costs. Location is great, 1-2 mins walk to the beach with the spectacular sand dunes, however there are 5 swimmingpools on hand within the hotel area. This is definitely the more upmarket area of Gran Canaria, with mnny elegant shops and restaurants nearby. Two only downsides are: other guests occupying sunloungers with their towels already early in the morning hours, walls seem / "sound" to be paper thin, noise from neighbouring rooms come through too easily. All in all perfect for a high quality, short haul sun escape from Europe.

WiFi improved since last stay but could still be better in the rooms Fitness center excellent but still annoying having to pay for every day - best if it would be free for guests - but otherwise maybe a weekly pass or similar Excellent Tai-chi program Yours Peter Salling

had expected WiFi in all rooms - only really worked in lobby and pool area had to pay for ccess to fittness center every day
