Little Collins Hotel Melbourne Guest Reviews
The hotel reception had a bad smell which was tried to be covered up with incense. The hallwall smelt like a septic tank, our bags were sent to the wrong room, on our first day there wasn't any hot water, the lift did not work for part of the second day, laundry bags left in the lobby, no phone in the room, bathroom floor behind bin covered in hair, no toilet brush and the toilet not cleaned for the 3 days we stay, only good thing to say about the hotel was the location and the receptionists were friendly.

Great location, staff friendly, very comfortable - however the lift not being in service was an issue in getting to and from rooms.

Great place to stay for a night in Melbourne. The lift wasn't working when we stayed, but the staff were very helpful in taking our bags up to the room and most rooms are on level 2, so not a big deal. Rooms clean, bed comfortable and spacious. Only picky thing was the light from the street shone through the gap in the blinds right onto the bed, but it was only a small thing. Prob not ideal for a long stay, but perfect for a night or 2.

I found the rooms lacking furniture - no desk, no chair, nothing on the walls except a small TV so looked very bare - had to work on the rather low bed. No internet access (or phone) in the rooms, though it was available for free in the lobby. Window looked directly into someone's office which was a bit unnerving. Reasonably cheap, but not the best hotel choice I've made
