"We recently stayed at this hotel on a visit to the Christmas Markets in Vienna and were pleasantly suprised by the quality of the hotel which is excellent. Staff were generally very helpful and attentive, internet access in the foyer is free and the breakfasts are fantastic. Our room was very quiet and quite an unusual and innovative layout, ideal for a few days, although storage could be a problem for any lengthy stay. The hotel is used as a business venue for conferences etc but unlike some hotels this was in no way intrusive to other guests. It's a good 15min walk to the main shopping area but there is a tram stop virtually outside the hotel. Bar area tends to get a bit smoky in the evenings but we would certainly recommend and indeed use the hotel again in the future."

"We would recommend this hotel as the facilities, comfort & cleanliness were first rate as was the buffet breakfast.The location was not the best for sightseeing but the good tram service made it easy to get around the city. The only black mark goes to one of the waitress's response to our complaint about people smoking in the restaurant (non smoking) was "It is my restaurant & if I say they can smoke-they can". "

"The location very near the Belvedere is great. It is only a 7 min walk to Karlsplatz where the U-Bahn goes (the tramway from Rennweg ends at Schwarzenberg Platz, 3 min. from Karls Platz). Parking facilities of Lindner are far too expensive (25 euro 24 hrs), in nearby Technikerstrasse the parking garage (camera observed) costs only 7 euro for 24 hrs. The staff at Lindner is friendly, rooms are spacious & with air co, breakfast is really luxurious!"
