The most helpful staff of all our hotels on this trip. I had a small group of 12. When I initially booked I made a mistake on the dates and the manager corrected and emailed my error. As I had booked on-line I was very impressed. Our stay was just for 1 night but I will definitely aim to return with a small group for a longer stay. The front desk staff were particularly gracious, thank you.

The location was fabulous. The beach and view of the ocean was right in front of us. One of our favorite hotels that we stayed in for our 13 day trip to Italy.

My husband & I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and found it very good - service was fantastic, location was ideal - we took a day's trip to Portofino by bus/very easy, the room was exceptionally big for European standars and very clean. Great ocean/waterfront view. Traffic was a little noisy at times but all in all we were very impress, would highly recommend. Eva & Ben from Sydney AUSTRALIA

The service at Lido Palace Hotel Santa Margherita Ligure was impeccable. The staff enthusiastically handled a special request (I wanted flowers, champagne, and a cake in my room upon check-in for my wife's 30th birthday) that went well and above the call of duty. I could not imagine a more pleasant place to stay. This was my first time using [your website] and, thanks to Lido Palace, it won't be my last.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and we enjoyed it and Santa Margherita Portofino,it is a wonderful place by the sea, we used the hotel to check out the local area, and went to Portofino - of which is very cute, a secluded bay with a lot of history a rich persons haven / relaxation spot, many actors important persons have visited Portofino. when going there be sure check out castello Brown it overlooks portofino it is magic. From S.Margherita went also went to Genoa 1/2 an hour away and pisa 2 hours by train. Also check out La Spezia Cinque terre 1 hour by train heading in direction of Pisa. Overall the hotel Lido palace is good and is as presented on the internet.
