While a good standard hotel with a very helpful girl (lucia) on reception, i found due to the fact the hotel was under refurbishment my view was of a public footpath, so i couldnt really open the shutters as i was completely overlooked all the time!! only about 30 mins walk from the uffizi gallery though.

We had an enjoyable stay. Breakfast was basic but Ok. The hotel is run by a family and the two sisters were very helpful and friendly. They gave us a room with a bathtub on seeing our two year old son and also provided a small cot. There was a well stocked mini-bar in the room. Easy transfers to the hotel by Bus no. 14 from Florence SMN station. There is a good restaurant about 500m from the Hotel. We recommend this hotel.

Need to catch a bus to the centre of Florence but otherwise in a quiet part of the city on the river. Good breakfast and good sized rooms. Excellent and large bathroom!

The family running the hotel are all very friendly and helpful. Although the hotel is a little distance from the centre, there is a very frequent bus service (number 14) which passes close by. There are few restaurants in the local area but the Taverna, a short walk from the hotel and recommended by one of the hotel staff, is very good and changes its menu daily.
