This charming 12th century inn has been beautifully renovated and we were welcomed with warmth and good humor. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast overlooking a bell tower in a precious small village and with the holiday weekend and many restaurant closures, our hosts prepared dinner for us as well. We so enjoyed the ensuite jacuzzi that we didn't even get to the spa or the pool. This is definitely the place if you are looking for relaxation away from the city.

A beautifully converted castle with extremely pleasant and helpful hosts. Rather isolated and very quiet although we regarded this as a plus! Nowhere to eat within walking distance but the breakfast and evening meal which were available if ordered in advance were very satisfactory. The owner was very helpful in booking local restaurants for us. I would be happy to stay there again and to recommend it to friends.

The hotel is really lovely, situated in a very small village. You need a car to stay there. We thought it was just wonderful.

We arrived late after a long drive and were met by a wonderful warm welcome. After being escorted to our fantastic room, dinner and wine was provided within 30 minutes - a lovely bordeoux and a superb super. Unfortunately we had to drive to London the next day so couldn't stay to enjoy the pool which looked great. All in all, we will be looking for any excuse to return and would recommend it to anybody. Both of us and our 3 month old baby loved it.
