Leopold Hotel Brussels

If you stay at this hotel, make sure the room is NOT opening to street. Awfully noisy without proper window isolation! Rooms are actually quite worn-out and smelling chemicals they use to "fresh" the rooms. To mention something positive is the buffet breakfast.

Well located hotel for European parliament, just off Place Luxemburg. Friendly and helpful staff. Basic enough facilities, breakfast adequate. Expensive by any standards, but you're paying for location. Extras are average priced, (10 euro/day for broadband). Would use it again if I got it at about 100 euro/day, but wouldn't pay 230/day for it.

The Leopold is in a good location and not too far from the EU Quarter, it is also near to Troon metro so it is easy to get to the central part of Brussels. It does represent good value for money.

A bit worn-out hotel in a good location if in need to do business with European parliament. Very good buffet breakfast.

Room is very small, the double bed is also small. Location of the elevators is not indicated properly, I had problems to find them each time. Hotel is far too expensive for the quality offered.

I have stayed regularly in Leopold since 7-8 years. Hotel has deteriorated a bit over time, although prices have increased. Small details, loose hangers in bathrooms, wobbeling showers, air condition getting noisy, scratched paint in corridors, furniture in common areas getting old and a bit dirty. But, in general, Leopold is a good and well placed hotel with respect to European institutions and communications.

Well, this place has certainly seen its best days.... old-fashioned, shabby rooms. Veeeery basic, so I do not understand where the stars come from. Location excellent for the EU-business, otherwise would recommend to choose another hotel. One more: breakfast buffet is excellent!

Overall good value for money in this location. Good transport links - especially with airport. Small lobby is very busy and slow if checking out between 8.00 am and 9.00 am.

Breakfast buffet great, service not that good. Premises already a bit worn-out, needs defenetely a renovation. Windows badly isolated (even in upper floor sounds like a bus passes next to you). Location for EU-purposes excellent.

Note that the insulation of windows is almost non-existent, better to ask the room opening to the courtyard. My room was in the sixth floor and noice of the street was like windows open.

An excellent boutique hotel, close to the EU Parliament and within walking distance of the European Commission. I thought the room - an attic room with little space - was rather pricy, though the technical facilitities were good. I took me 5 minutes to find the room on the sixth floor - too many nooks and cranies. The bath had a very gentle slope at the back, no hand rails and the only way I could safely get out was by turning over on my knees and then standing up, as there was no ledge to grip on the wall side. There'll be an accident there one day soon unless a hand rail is installed on the wall side.

A very nice hotel with a very good service in the centre of Brussels, only 200 metres from Place de Luxembourg, where is a station for the airport bus. I was especially pleased with their breakfast service, their glass ceiling atrium needs special mention. regular pricing can be on the expensive side, but we have found a very good deal. Overall: very pleased!

When the price is right, as it is from time to time, it's a very good deal in a very good location (for me).

Location good for MEP's and other such interested parties (very close to the European Parliament) but a bit away from the city centre if you're not keen on walking.

the hotel is located in calm nice area away from the hubub localities at the same time closer to the central area with in few minutes of walking or confortable local transport. the best part of the location is to reach airport in a nice confortable local bus from the starting point in the vicinity of the hotel. the pricing could be a little better for the tourist. the facilities and services are good for the money.

Excellent location for business travels. Reduced price was worth it. The most disappointing thing was the strong bad smell of the room which did not leave even after several hours airing of the room. It looked clean, but smelled dirty. Breakfast was OK, but no fresh vegetables at all, and just a few pieces of fresh fruit could compensate for that.

It's OK, the room was a bit small and the temperature control didn't work very well, but it's a reasonable price at a good location. The only breakfast option was 20 euros, which was a bit steep...should be included in the room price.
