Lenox Hotel Boston
4 out of 5

We walked to many of the sites and used the hop on hop off bus to reach sites a little further out. There is a great deal for this at the moment. The room was comfortable and not too small. The bed was extremely comfortable and the pillows were great. There was a small fridge and bottles of water were provided each day. The concierge was very helpful with information and suggestions. Do not miss the recently opened Boston Tea Party Museum or a walking tour from the Visitor's Centre at the Boston Common. Shaws Supermarket is close by for the little extras that are needed- fruit etc.

The main thing that makes the Lenox a superior hotel is the people who work there. From the people at the door, to the concierge, to the wait staff and housekeepers, everyone is pleasant, accommodating and helpful. I can't say enough good things about them. The hotel itself is lovely and in very good condition considering its age. It's very centrally located, within walking distance of many restaurants and other attractions. The Copley MBTA station is an easy walk and there is a taxi stand on the Boylston Street side of the hotel. The beds are extremely comfortable, and there is good wi-fi access. Additionally, this is a green hotel that attempts to be completely sustainable - a laudable goal. I will stay at the Lenox any time I'm in Boston.

Staff was wonderful from doormen, bellmen, desk, Kristie Weiss the Concierge was super, house cleaning staff courteous and the room was immaculate. Room was great, best mattress we've slept on in years. Location near the T made going around all over Boston a breeze. City Table and Solas restaurants, very, very good.
