I've never stayed here before, but it seemed more like an apartment complex. Koi pond right outside our room and some rooms had private garden. Our room was like a furnished studio apartment complete with small oven, refrigerator, sink, dishes & utensils - there was even ice in the freezer. Nice BBQ grill outside available for use as well. I will definately go back - only 4 miles from Disney and saved $$ on having to buy meals in or out of the park.

Not exactly what I expected. Needs some major upgrades and actually just some basic upkeep. Mold in the bathroom and kitchen sink was filthy. The remote for the tv did not work. It smelled musty and was very dusty as well. Could be a cute place to stay......the owners/staff .need to really look at their hotel from an outsiders perspective. Would they be satisfied with their stay?

We had a great time at this hotel. The room was spacious, clean, and beautiful! I couldn't believe they supplied not only a refrigerator, but also cooking appliances, pots, pans, silverware and dishes! The look was amazing as well, warm dark wood with natural greens and tans. Even the shower was great - most hotels have poor water pressure and cold water - this hotel had a great shower!! Always hot water, and great pressure. We loved the Lemon Tree Hotel, and will recommend it to all of our friends.

This was a very unique hotel. The rooms, of all different sizes, were very large, spacious, extremely comfortable, plenty of pillows and linens, and really clean. It was quiet and quaint, with fountains and lots of well kept greenery. I will always return for a stay here anytime I am in the area even if I am 15-20 miles out. It was as close to perfect as it could be. I will always recommend to family and friends that they stay there. Thank you.

Stayed in the studio apartment section, which has a very nice small patio out front. The tile floors are a nice touch, but found them in need of a good mopping. The rooms are in average condition. Free continental breakfast is available. Convenient to the 91 Fwy and the 57 Fwy, and local shopping area. Outdoor BBQ area and a nice water feature.

Lemon is an bargain oasis in a sea of pricey hotels. A bit noisy but clean... a unique Mexican decor (tasteful)...friendly desk ready to help... again , a good bargain

I travel to Orange County once or twice a month and generally stay at the Fairfield Inn in Placentia.I had to travel last minute and they were full. The best any Marriott group could offer was $189.I went to [...] and up pops the Lemon Tree Hotel for $79 plus taxes ($89 total) and it's close to where I needed to be.That'll work! Its hard to describe but I liked the place.Other reviewers comment its a little hard to find and after I passed it I parked on Lincoln at the wrong end of the complex which is gated and you cant get in. I look over the fence and Im thinking 'uh oh,this place is rough!" I finally saw the entrance at the east end of the property (duh!) Once I got inside I could relax. Its an old hotel and kind of funky with a Spanish/Bohemian decor. The young (very attractive!) lady at the desk was pleasant and helpful. There were Disneyland families everywhere. The tropical landscape is overgrown but well maintained. There's a nice pool and my room #149 was small like a tiny studio apt. It had a tiny kitchen, dishes, frig, microwave, hot plate, iron, coffee maker etc Nothing in the room matches but its a comfy little dig. The linens and bathroom were very clean and the bed was firm and clean. It had a tiny patio for relaxing and TV with HBO.It reminded me of an apt I had in Dana Point in the 70's.They offer a free breakfast at 7 I had to leave at 6 so didnt see what was available... Bottom line If you're not too full of yourself and you need a value priced OC basecamp that covers the vital few and then some, the Lemon Tree is a great little hotel.

The lobby area was welcoming and well-decorated so initial impression was good. My family had a one bedroom APT room - right away I noticed an odd smell, similar to that of a cheaper motel. The space itself was roomy enough - sparsely but adequately decorated. The carpets had quite a bit of stains on them, which was a bit of a deterrent. Some of the walls also were a bit dirty. If the company could clean the carpets, repaint some of the walls and get some febreeze goin' on, it could earn an extra star from me. Overall it was okay - not great, not bad. I did enjoy the continental breakfast mainly because it was in the lobby which was the best part of the hotel for us.

Perfect place for a one day trip to see the Angels play....Close to the stadium, very comfortable room, friendly staff....Signage was a little hard to see, but that's also part of the charm....

The Hotel was very cute and pretty close to the things I wanted to do while in town. My room was okay, not as nice as the ones in the pictures, but also not bad. I would stay there again.
