Le Peranakan Hotel Singapore Guest Reviews
Clean and nice. Comfy bed, tv, hair dryer. Lowest priced rooms are without windows. No shampoo. Bad sound proof.

Average really! Size of room is seriously compact as opposed to published photos.

The only problem i had with the hotel is the smell. Not that is stinky or filt, it just have this sort of smell that's not aromatic and comforting to live in. If you don't mind with taking buses, then this hotel would meet your traveling needs as there is no MRT close to it and that closes station is 6 stops away. Suit for a quiet , out of the hassle and bussle of the city.

The hotel is newly renovated, rooms are very clean. The place isn't what it is made out to look in the photographs. Standard rooms are VERY small - measuring just 8' x 8' - with two single (twin) beds - there is hardly any room to move around or even pack and unpack your bags. There are no closets, no shelves - so you are practically walking all over your stuff. The attached bathroom - measuring just 5' x 5' - houses a small basin, shower area and WC. So imagine what kind of room you would have in there. Good luck if you drop the soap in the shower area!! Moreover, the bathroom area is partitioned with a fogged glass - so if you need privacy, keep your distance from the glass. There are NO real breakfast options around. The so called "coffee shop" doesn't even serve a decent butter toast - let alone eggs or tea or coffee. McDonalds located about 1KM away. Singapore Expo and downtown Singapore are a ride on bus #12. Closest MRT (metro) is Eunos, reach it via bus #15.

Quaint Chinese style hotel. Tiny rooms but that's pretty common in Singapore for this price range. Actually has separate shower stall from the toilet which almost no hotels in this price range have and the shower has great pressure and seemingly unlimited hot water which is rare for even more expensive places. Bonus points for the great shower. Bed was clean & comfy although the pillows were undersized. Downsides: there is a karaoke bar either in the hotel or adjacent building which you can clearly hear in your room. I think it shut down at 1a and since I don't sleep before then it wasn't a problem but if you're an early sleeper this may be a deal breaker. There is no fridge in the room so no way to keep cold drinks. The wireless internet is unusable. The staff will provide you tangled cables to plug in directly but most are broken so you'll need to find one with a working plug. Once I got a good cable (bring your own?) the internet was reliable and free.
