This is a four star hotel...could be five: clean behind things, make sure that the the toilets in the different bathrooms all work well. I choose to stay here, as Le Pavilion is a classic old style hotel meets my desire for a classic stay experience. But I hate the small issues...maids too loud early while I sleep, toilets too low flow, dust in the tub (when was the room last occupied However, I will continue to stay here....Classic!

This hotel is well positioned for access to key attractions in New Orleans. It is only a few blocks from the French Quarter and from River Walk. The room itself was a little small and had a noisy air-conditioning system. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The staff here are lovely, the hotel is beautiful, and everything is nice and clean. Absolute favourite is the late night snack. Best experience we've had at a hotel. We were on a tight budget and could only afford two nights, but its still resonably affordable to your average traveller and so very worth it in the end. Easy walk to Bourbon St and major french quarter area.

I stayed at Le Pavillon for three days on business. The hotel is situated in the Business District, but all major parts of New Orleans are quickly accessible, as are two Streetcar lines. The hotel staff are extremely friendly and the hotel is very attracted. I would definately stay there again.

My family and I had a great experience at Le Pavillon for the BCS Championship at the Superdome. It is so conveniently located for events at the dome or arena, and is an easy walk to the French Quarter. The hotel was at capacity the night before we got there, so understandably there wasn't a room available when we got there at 11:00 AM. Check-in time is 3:00 so we came back shortly before and the room still wasn't available. The attendant gave me free drink coupons for everyone in my party. About 25 minutes later the room still wasn't ready so a manager found me in the lobby and gave me 4 breakfast buffet vouchers ($80 value). The fact that they offered all that really made me more pleased with the hotel than if the room had been available at 11:00. Staff members of every level were extremely courteous and welcoming the entire stay. We had a deluxe room with 2 queens and it was very nice. I would recommend this hotel to anyone without hesitation.

I am impressed with the condition of the hotel, the rooms are nicely furnished. There is one major issue, and I do mean major. ANY CONVERSATION YOU HAVE IN YOUR ROOM, IS HEARD IN THE ROOM NEXT TO YOU. So we were asleep at 1:30 am and our neighbors come back to their room, and start talking, and these are people that just talk a little louder normally, but it is amplified coming into our room, and there is no sleep to be had until I went downstairs to the front desk, woke up the security guard, and complained to the manager. This happened 50% of the nights we were there, that we were awakened by noise in the hall or in the room next to us. I would have gotten more sleep on Bourbon St.

Great hotel. Loved everything including the P&J snack in the evening. Wish our King room had a couch to relax on.

Room size too small for two. Bathroom too small, no room to lay down accessories on vanity top. Walls have no sound insulation at all; you can hear every most intimate noise coming from the adjacent room like it is happening in your bed, not to mention talks, TV, everything else.

beautiful hotel that looks very Parisian !! feel like you are in Paris; beautiful chandeliers and paintings on the wall. Very friendly and courteous staff; Only issue we have is that food was very average in the Restaurant and very limited vegetarian choices

A large hotel with a touch of a boutique hotel. Upon arrival there was no coffee machine in our room -- they arranged it immediately upon our request. Immaculate rooms and free WiFi all over, unlike other hotels nearby. Complementary 10pm treat for the guests and reasonable priced 'all you can eat' dinners. Highly recommended

The hotel is absolutely elegant and beautiful! Every thoughtful amenity is provided, right down to the PB & J "late-nite snack" served in the lobby. The food served in their restaurant is excellent. Over-all a solid 5 Star gem.

The hotel and hotel staff were amazing. My wife and I had a great time. The location was perfect because we were able to easily walk to the River Walk as well as French Quarter. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Great Place!!!!!!!!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Le Pavillon Hotel. It is beautifully decorated and the rooms are very nice and clean. We chose to walk to the French Quarter each day, but you could easily get on the St. Charles Streetcar which stops less than one block away. The cost is only $3 per person for a day pass to get on and off any of the streetcars. My favorite treat was the complimentary hot chocolate and peanut butter and jelly each evening at 10pm. We will definitely stay here again.

We have stayed at many hotels (we love to travel) both throughout the US and abroad and find that this hotel was one of our top 3 of all time! My husband, who does not pay very close attention to detail - he likes a clean, quiet place with a good location only - said that we MUST come back to Le Pavillon. Service, location and the beauty of the old classic decor was wonderful. Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and hot chocolate at 11PM on a cold night were nice touches, too!

We were three (3) couples that stayed>all of the staff were friendly and outgoing. Our room was beautiful and shower was powerful. Ran into the maids and supervisors and they were friendly. First time using this Hotel and we've been coming to New Orleans since 1998. We will re-book with Le Pavillon Hotel!

Very nice classic hotel. The free evening PB&J and Hot Cocoa Bar was a great treat. Only problems were that the tread mills in the exercise room needed repairs.

I was amazed that I got the price I did for this hotel. I lived in NOLA for 12 years so I knew that this place had great rooms and services. It lived up to expectations. Rooms were clean, amenities were good, location was great, and staff was very helful and courteous. Only problem was that it was expensive to park with the hotel. I parked in overnight lots which was considerably cheaper. Otherwise, the small things like complimentary PBNJ sandwiches with hot cocoa at night were very pleasant as well!
