We checked in at 3 pm but was told the room was ready but come back at 3:30. We walked in central park for two hours. When we came back we had a difficult time checking in. No one wants that after a long day and I already gave my credit card and was told it would be ready at 3:30 PM . It took awhile to get fixed , we were told needed to wait the room was ready but needed to wait, really . ok we went for a burger waited in Burger Joint. everyone makes fuss about it but dont see the big deal, its a burger in a joint, ok for NYC its unique. An hour plus later my partner said if its not ready we were leaving. oh great ! and when he is bad oh boy. I went back to the woman and she said oh its still not ok yet. bs. i saw it in her eyes , she was just trying to screw with us. BECAUSE , when I told her we would have to leave if its not ready , she looked at the computer in front of her and it was ok. They were not overly busy because there is LOUD construction going on and you cant even hear inside. Finally in our room. and the bed is not very comfy, the sleeper sofa is worse, but the room was a larger room. We stayed here cuz wanted to use the pool. Walked in and honestly gaged ! I was overwhelmed with a smell mixed with the chlorine smell and it stuck in my throat. the young guard said they sealed the floor . But its not toxic , hahaha wrong , he was soooo naive , he didnt even know about 9/11 people dying. Plus the pool was not a comfortable temp, for a adult, kids dont care. but i do. The location was good, elevators worked.

We stayed for 5 nights checking out Oct 5th. We stayed in a suite that had a strong deodorizer smell when we walked in... something wasn't right. The hotel was full that first night otherwise I would have switched rooms immediately. There was water damage in the bathroom and the bedroom area and they masked the mold smell with deodorizer. When I complained the next morning that we didn't like our room. The front desk didn't seem to be bothered... They got us another suite (said we couldn't get a refund on a normal room b/c we prepaid through orbitz). The new suite was much nicer until we discovered stained hand towels (more than one) and a very nasty, blood-stained robe in the bathroom... It was a horrible series of experiences... I had stayed there in 2008 and it was much nicer but this trip will be my last. for sure. They sent a fruit plate b/c of the robe and towels... Sorry, just not enough service/care/cleanliness for our money. Will not be back.

We just had a great stay at Le Parker Meridien. The staff was exceptionally nice and the room was well appointed and comfortable, although a bit on the small side. The location was very convenient. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Loved the hotel. We had a great view of central park and were walking distance to most anything. Rooms are clean and well maintained. The only fault would be waiting time for elevators if your above the 23rd floor. Might take 5 to ten minutes.

Great hotel, great location, and a pool on the 42nd floor! This, in my opinion, is a really good 4* hotel, or an average 5* but make up your own mind..

The location of the hotel was perfect for sight seeing in NY. We were able to walk to most places of interest (Rockefella, Times Square, Radio City, Central Park). It was a busy area but quiet, not like Times Square. The rooms were cleaned and linen changed on a daily basis. The mini bar and facilities within the hotel were too expensive for our pocket. The swimming pool was a bit of a let down, we imagined something much more grand. The staff were very friendly and helpful, we felt very at ease in the hotel. Overall it was quite expensive as we hardly spent any time there but we had the luxery of coming home to a very clean and quiet hotel. I would recommend it, it was recommended to me!!!

Some guests were very noisy next door to our room and waking us up in the middle of the night. The air conditioner was not working for 4 of the 5 nights we were staying which was a little unpleasant. Other than that, the staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Excellent European-style hotel close to Central Park with nice facilities and renovated rooms. Nice view on the city and Central Park from the well-sized swimming pool. Restaurants not tested but have excellent reputation (New-York best rated breakfast and best-rated hamburger). [your website] pricing is very attractive for that quality.

Le Parker Meridien New York makes you feel right at home. It is in a good location and the burger joint is always jumping and we find that the staff are always helpful. My son loves the cartoons in the elevator.

Looked at the price of the hotel since my stay and found I could not afford it any more. Off season, with the pricing per room which this website offered, it is exceptional value. Location great.

The location of the hotel is just fantastic and our standard room was quite good. But the area around the swimming pool was very, very dirty for European standard! When we checked out none of the computers was working which was really shocking and we would not expect that from such a place in New York City. In General the reception area is much too small for all those guests! But after all we were happy and we would choose this hotel again.
