A bit expensive for what you get. But if the point is to eat at their restaurant, it is very convenient.

We did not get a friendly welcome from the owner of the hotel. In a small hotel of this nature, it is important to make guests feel like valued customers. Unfortunately, this was not the case and therefore we would hesitate to return to the hotel. However, some members of staff were helpful and nice.

The location is delightful on a village green, but you will need a car to get around the area. The rooms are quite basic with no mini-bar or coffee / tea making facilities. There is little else besides this hotel within the village. There is vitually nothing in relation to other restaurants and bars. Continental breakfast is 15e per person. The dinner although good is a little pricey at minimum 55e pp and the local wines are brilliant but expensive. Enjoy.

A pleasant inn, with a superb restaurant. Overall, good value for money. The staff were polite and helpful.

We stayed at Le Montrachet because of the high praise the restaurant received. It turns out the praise is well-deserved. Of the several fine restaurants we dined at during our week in Burgundy, Le Montrachet stood out above the rest. Service, presentation, wine list and atmosphere all were superior.
