I have had a generally good impression of this hotel. Rooms are spacious and have quite a few of accessories. there are also sockets for british and most european plugs. staff is nice. I was allowed to check in early. Food is generally very good. the room location is quite scenic, as to reach the room complex from the reception a short boat trip is required. Yet, one of the boats had the exhaust pipe on the front, meaning that alll passengers got smoked in the journey. the other boats are lovely. i was disappointed by the taxi service. it is overpriced and a bit careless. on friday I wanted to visit fort cochin and they advertised the dutch house (museum) and synagogue as places worth visiting. they forgot to mention that they are closed on friday. In addition, when I booked my reservation stated "late check out", but I was not granted any additional time as they had many bookings. The hotel might want to avoid offering this possibility if ir cannot provide it.
