Location
Located in the heart of Jakarta's financial district, Le Meridien Hotel ideally lies at easy access from National Museum, Presidential National Palace and Ancol Dream Land. Directly opposite the World Trade Centre, the hotel is 30 minutes from Soekarno Hatta International Airport.
This hotel offers well-appointed guestrooms, with all modern amenities including voice mail, air conditioner, cable television and a mini bar. Four rooms have been adapted for disabled guests and are located on the second floor.
Restaurant
Guests can dine at the onsite restaurants, which serve Lebanese, Japanese, French cuisine along with Asian specialties of the region. Guests can also unwind with a drink at the hotel bar.

Le Meridien Hotel Jakarta Guest Reviews
The staff was unpleasant and unwelcoming. Mini bar was emptied due to no credit card, even though room was paid in full and cash was on hand. Guest was made to feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. What a shame!

We stayed 3 nights in this hotel. Pros: The location is good, in the Jakarta business area. If you want to explore the main sights of the city, this is a good point to go from. The room is large, free high-speed internet is available. Cons: breakfast is very expensive (USD15), especially taking account of the generally very cheap restaurant pricing in Jakarta. No airport shuttle.

As I stayed only a night in the hotel, I dined only at its coffee shop. Cannot remember the exact, but with some sort of a French name. Anyway, the buffet spread was not too impressive for a 5-star hotel. For a start, the choice of 'hot' food was limited. The worst was its desserts. The fruit selections was one of the worst I've ever seen in a 5-star hotel. There were more dried fruits than fresh. After standing in front of the desserts section for about 7 minutes, I decided to order a cup of coffee. Le Meridien still has a long way to go in this area. Perhaps, they can get some tips from the [other hotel name], which is another 5-star hotel in Jakarta.
