Nice staff, lovely beach, big pool, great breakfast and dinner buffet (the sweets though were bad..). my only problem was that my room had a weird smell of mould that wouldn't go away..it was very unpleasant..

nice hotel, and very kind people. Food fine as well. 2 issues: only small part of the huge beach is ok to swin (enormous vagues) and second a car is mandatory as hotel is quite isolated (road to Victoria is almost 20mn of non stop curves)

A comparatively good value for money option if staying at Seychelles' mahe island (and if you forget about using the hotel's expensive restaurant other than the inclusive breakfast) . Nice ocean view and private beach somehow remoted though. Restaurant prices are outrageous (buffet 50 EUR pp ) whereas you can eat nicely in nearby restaurants and taverns (not within walking distance, easy to go by cab though) Good choice would be chez Julien (fresh fish, reasonable ) Rooms correct, with nothing exceptional though, good minimalistic design. Terribly slow internet (slower than dial up), free at common premises (free laptops for guests or wifi at the bar) but very expensive if you want internet at your room.

The hotel is located in a very beautiful area with a magnificent beach front. The hotel staff were very helpful and charming. The service of the waiters and front desk were exceptional polite and friendly. Although the lemeridien Barbarons Hotel is an old property but was good and clean. The food was excellent but could improve in choice of live band. The member were untidy and could improve in choice of songs. being my first ever trip to Seychelles and a frequent traveller to many parts of the world, I would say the visiting Seychelles and the hotel is a rewarding experience. I have had a fabulous time there.

The open aspect of the hotel was good & it made good use of being on the beach The a la carte restaurant was poor in terms of menu selection, service. It could have been so much better as one is able to dine outside right by the beach etc. There was no shuttle into town. The free Wi-fi in the lobby + business centre was very useful given the remoteness of the hotel. Due to the onshore winds + rocky cove it was not possible to swim in the sea. Likewise one couldn't use the extensive nautical centre equipment. Reception was not too service orientated. They would call a taxi but that was it. However the welcome at check in was good. Buffet breakfast was extensive and good quality. They also provided an early departure breakfast at 5.30am. The impression gained is that the hotel is much better with groups rather than individual travellers
