Hotel is amazing. Rooms are big and luxurious with lots of extras. Breakfast was great with so many options but the highlight was the pool on level 6. A great getaway from the hustle of the city with a tranquil lounge and relaxing swim. Location is very central but it is near the red light area of bangkok. Only a short walk to Skyrail but the hotel is quick to organise meter taxis upon request. Definitely recommend this place.

First, the location of the hotel can't be beat if you were wanting to be in the Silom area. And the rooms are really really nice. In terms of atmosphere, if you want a lush quiet place this is the right one. For me, personally, I would have liked some emphasis on it being a 'destination hotel'e.g., a happening bar. But that's just my taste. Only routine but minor glitch I would say is that they never replaced the soap bars in the 5 days I was there. A spare bar or two would have been nice. Other than that, great stay.

The hotel was very nice and I had an excellent stay there. My room was large and comfortable with a delightful bathroom and good desk. There is free Internet in the lobby only but it is a comfortable place and it is easy to buy a SIM card for data in Thailand and use that instead of expensive hotel Internet. There is a small convenience store right next to the hotel and plenty of restaurants in the vicinity. The hotel gave free bottled water in the room and the best coffee (French press) I have ever had in a room. The pool is lovely as well. Don't be put off by the location next to Patpong Rd. This is actually a very good location, close to the Skytrain and other amenities. In fact I really liked the area which had everything from temples to sleaze to McDonalds and it is very lively at night without being disturbing at all.

This is a gorgeous hotel with the most stunning interior designs. It's well located with an excellent bar and restaurant. My only complaint is the ridiculously high charge for WiFi. It's time 5 star hotels recognised that WiFi should be free like it is in just about every 3 @ 4 star hotel and coffee shop.

I stayed at Le Meridien Bangkok for 3 nights over New Year 2011. I arrived early in the morning - and was hoping to drop my bags and check in later, but they were kind enough to let me check in early (8 am!). The room was spotless and perfectly comfortable, with a great view of the Bangkok skyline. The only downside was that wireless internet was expensive - and unreliable, but this is true of many hotels. Location was great with Sala Daeng station a short walk away. I'll definitely recommend Le Meridien.

We booked thie hotel after review on Trip Advisor and I have to admit frankly, great hotel. We spent there 4 nights. It was everything that we expected, no dissapointments. I really enjoyed our stay. We had room on 21 st floor (corner room), with beautiful view. Staff very friendly, speaks very good english. Location is great, just 10 min by taxi to Paragon Shopping Centre and also good distance to Bangkok attractions. Staff will care about your needs, helps to manage your holiday. Hotel has wireless internet connection free of charge. Also nice bar with good quality drinks. I have no concerns about this hotel. Was sad leaving.

As with all these types of hotels the price for internet was ridiculous, we just went downstairs to the nearest cafe to use free WIFI. Internet should be free.

Hip & chic rooms with great facilities. Always one of my favourite hotels in Bangkok and right next to the Skytrain and Patphong Night Market. You wont find better 5 star accomadation in BBK for the very competative price.

5-star hotel and you get what you pay for. New hotel with very small rooms and very obnoxious unpolite staff. exactly what you should expect when staying in this type of 'luxury' hotel. The location is great and facilities first class (read as "overly expensive) but the staff are not friendly or helpfull and none are actually Thai -- so really not able to provide much help. Overall I would not stay in this hotel again unless they started to offer "FREE" internet connectivity (650baht/night currently) and dropped the room price by at least half. Overall not worth the money
